Jennifer did a great job for the 3 times that she came to clean my home. She came at the designated time agreed upon, and the cleaning was very satisfactory.
However, I understand that she took me on as an incremental job in the area since my house was not that large. She must have found that her schedule did not really allow for an additional job on the designated day because she stopped showing up and never made contact again.
Something else may have been going on that prevented from her returning to service, but I never heard. Thus I have rated her high on the service level provided during her time and noted a lower responsiveness and punctuality rating. I am certain that for her long term, larger home customers she is very reliable and thorough.

Visited the house briefly to provide a quote. Arrived on time, quietly completed her work, bringing her own supplies and vacuum. Continued working the entire time she had designated.

Ms. Shaw's cleaning was generally good, though I've had better housecleaners. On occasion she left cleaning bottles or rags out in various parts of the house, which I found on my return. The kitchen counters never smelled great after she was there. Not a big enough deal to mention, but a little surprising & forgetful. There was damage to a drywall after one visit, but she did not believe she was the cause. Recently, she suffered some family problem and did not clean the house on the appointed day (once every four weeks). She did not call, leave a voice mail, or drop me an e-mail. Upon finding the house not cleaned on my return home, I left her a message on her voice mail. She did not respond. I sent an e-mail. She responded by e-mail the next day, describing a family difficulty and saying she would "definitely be there on your next day", meaning 4 weeks later. I dropped a note asking if she would schedule me prior to that time. She did not respond. Because this is the holiday season when I typically have guests, that was not helpful.
Four weeks later, on the day she was due to return, I left a note saying that for us to continue, I felt we should agree that in future it is her responsibility to contact me when she can't make her cleaning appointment, and that she should also try to make up any cleaning appointment that she missed.
Having read my note, she did not clean the house (or accept the check), being offended that I would respond this way after her personal difficulties. I can understand her being emotionally upset, but I think it a reasonable request that she should inform me when she can't meet her appointment and that she try to arrange to clean the house at a later time if she can't clean on the scheduled day. She believes I'll get bad karma (karma will 'kick you in the a**') for being mean to her and that I will not find anyone as good as she is. I disagree.

"This guy is CRAZY. He left me a two page single spaced letter that was incredibly rude. Many of the things he says are just not true. My son got cancer; I am sure I was not at my best at that time! Who would be. I wish I had saved his letter so that I could post it here. It was unbelievable. I don't know who was providing better housecleaning than I was, but it must have been more than ten years before I got there, as the house was incredible filthy when I started. If the man spilled spaghetti sauce on the floor the day after it was cleaned, it was still there two weeks later."

HAS ONLY CLEANED ONCE BUT SHE IS VERY NICE. SHE IS GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES. THE COST IS NOT EXPENSIVE. SHE CLEANS WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND SHE IS TRUSTWORTHY. I'D HIRE HER AGAIN.
