DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They work with contract salespeople/contractors, At first, all was fine. I was dealing with a sales person (Duane) and he was more of a charlatan. He invoiced my insurance company one fee, and handed me a different one - where he attempted to cheat me out of $1200, until I caught his error. He blamed it on his "fat thumbs". How is that even an excuse? ONE invoice should be sent to both the insurance company and the consumer. Be sure to call your insurance company to review the invoice and payments. He then skipped town. The company also sold during this time, but the new owners were also quite unprofessional. CC'ing me on emails in which they were discussing what they should do with me and my disappointment. Well, Jenesis, you did not succeed. I actively steer people away from your services. On top of all of that, I waited 6 months for the final inspection, because of paper work errors by Jenesis. While the roof may be good, the stress, professionalism, and customer service was terrible. Think twice before you work with this company.

BEWARE!!!!! Jenesis replaced our roof in Louisville after the hailstorm in June and everything seemed fine. In November, our tenants who occupy the house noticed that the furnace was not operating properly and they were experiencing health issues. Fast forward, past the diagnostic visits from HVAC technicians - the Jenesis crew had damaged the roof cap for the furnace and as a result, the furnace was not ventilating properly. Hazardous levels of carbon monoxide were in the home so we shut off the furnace immediately and our tenants went without heat when it was in the 30s outside. Jenesis sent someone to repair the damage, but then made no attempt to assist with rectifying the situation with the furnace. The repairs to our 2-year old furnace was $1400 and repairs to the water heater, also compromised by the buildup of heat and moisture, was $285. By the way, our tenants went without hot water in December for a week. We only requested that Jenesis reimburse us for the repairs, with no recompense for our tenants. Jenesis just informed me that they do not believe it is their responsibility to cover any of the damage. I wish I could turn back the clock and sign with a vendor that is reputable. UPDATE: I received a customer service call from the original owner, Jenni, who was very professional and understanding. She promptly sent me a check to fully cover the costs of the repairs, which we very much appreciated.

Excellent. Very positively impressed. They replaced the shingled roof and used sub contractors on the gutters and metal roof. When the gutter sub messed up on one of the gutters, Jenesis came in fixed it themselves. Could not be more pleased. Most work done June 9. Gutter issue only noticed later and fixed at once on August 15

Great experience from start to finish. We have 2 homes, one in Denver and one in Centennial. The Centennial home had a shake roof (the dumbest type for Denver) and really needed to be replaced along with the gutters. I really wanted to do dimensional shingles, new gutters and gutter covers. Our house is a large 2 story with garage and a decent pitch on the roof. The whole experience was wonderful and the follow up exceptional. We even had some issues with the HOA and Jenny (the owner) actually helped us deal with everything. There was one hiccup, the delivered the wrong color gutters but was remedied immediately. Love the roof, the color and the overall process- no hassle at all and it looks beautiful! Truly great communication, price and customer service. I will be using them to do the roof on our other house for sure. I should have done this earlier- I just saw all the bad posts from people that didn't even get work done with them- not really fair.

I found this roofing company on Team Dave Logan. I checked out their BBB ratings and referrals and they are top notch with a 10 year track record. Has done and is currently working in Douglas County per Douglas County permits. Has insurance. Users their own workers. Doesn't want any front money. I have hired them based on all this info including personal contact with their rep. I will post again when the work has been done.
Work has been completed:
These guys were excellent. Once the project got started they were timely, did quality work, cleaned up the site every night, finished quickly. I called the office a few times to give info and get status reports and they were always "on the ball" with my questions/requests.
Most importantly, I would definitely use these guys again.
My contact at Jenesis was Morris King. Excellent guy to work with.

Jim Peterson gave us a quote and seemed very knowledgeable. He told us the benefits of the Steel Roofing (which we were interested in) and also told us that our roof also needed 5 vents installed (there were none at the time) and why it was important. Work was scheduled to start on Oct 27, but because of a misunderstanding it did not begin November . The old roof was pulled off right before an expected snowstorm and after getting the temporary water-ice barrier installed, the work stopped for about 2 months or more. Check Denver's weather this winter. Not a lot of snow after that first snowfall. Jim assured us the temporary barrier was good for 6 months. After they started installing the roof, I asked the workmen "where are the vents'. "what vents" they replied, we weren't told anything about vents". Work had to stop until they consulted with Jim. Roofing had to be removed, vents were installed and re-roofing began again. The end caps and flashing were ordered as the wrong color and had to be redone. To top it off, the roof failed inspection and the entire flat roof portion had to be redone.
They said they would do a magnetic sweep to remove fallen nails. Generally this is important to do....and in our case with 2 dogs that like to run to a gate along the side of the house, we emphasized the importance of this to us. I can understand missing a few nails that fall into the grasssy area, but we collected over 2 dozen nails on the cement walkway right in front of the gate that we told them we were very concerned about. Just out in the open...on Concrete. Didn't even need anything magnetized to see them. All told we ended up collecting 80-90 roofing nails from around the house. I assume there are a lot more than 80 nails in a roof, but that sure seems like a lot to leave behind...with the vast majority in open sight in the area we told them was the most important to check..
We asked them not to replace the end caps on one side of the garage because of some foliage that grow there. They removed it anyways, saying that no-one told them to leave it alone.
Overall, I feel like Jim did a good job selling us on their services, and then dropped the ball completely by not monitoring the job or giving the workmen the instructions they needed. To his credit, he made sure that all the problems were corrected and was pleasant the whole time. The job however took over 5 months to complete (the house is 1350 Sq Ft). The owner came by to pick up the check and I told her "I guess you know that we had a number of problems'. She said "Yes I heard something about that. Thanks for the check. See you later". No questions asked, no apologies.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to judge the quality of the roof until many years, rains, and snows in the years to come. Throughout this process Jim ultimately corrected all the problems and was friendly and professional through-out. The owner could not have shown less interest.
I would not use them again except for warrantee work...which I can only hope is not needed.

I highly recommend Jenesis Roofing.
Jenesis was responsive and highly professional and did an excellent job of replacing our cedar shake roof with attractive composite shingles (which also lowered our homeowners insurance premium). The company representatives were very knowledgeable and responsive. The job included installing six new roof vents and painting them (and the flashing arouund the chimney) to match the shingles. The job, including an effective clean-up, was completed in one day. The crew even cleaned our gutters. We contacted three companies for estimates. Jenesis was the only company that brought out actual samples of shingles (as opposed to brochures) and had, by far, the best price for the job.
Again, I recommend Jenesis to anyone needing a roof replacement.

The installer dropped the inner portion of the skylight about 4 inches. I heard him swear when it happened, and I wondered what had happened. About a week later, I noticed that the skylight was improperly placed. Both the installer and the owner were on the roof, but they never told me about the problem after it occured.
Response from Jenesis Roofing Inc
"The homeowner called us because her skylights were leaking. We removed the skylights, wrapped them in ice and water shield and reflashed them. When we were finished there was no mention of any problems, nor have we heard any since the repair. I apologize for any unprofessional comments that may have been said or misunderstood. Not sure what improperly placed means since we have not been contacted. We would be happy to look at the repair again to correct any issues."

Fine. Chase came out on 5/10/2010 to give me an estimate, then came again on 5/19/10 to do the work. He took care to make the flashing job as attractive as possible.

The estimater was very thorough, they provided a competative price, and detailed exactly what they would be doing. They showed up when they said and completed the project when they said they would. They cleaned up the yard at the end of each day and at the end of the job. The crew did an excellent job on the roof and the finished product looks great. Everyone we dealt with at this company was very professional. I would definately use this company again.

They were flexible about coming out to do the estimate, worked within my insurance estimate, and did the work as scheduled. They also waited for payment until I got my insurance check endorsed by my mortgage company. Overall a good experience.

They are not quite finished with the work. They are actually arguing with my insurance company about square footage of the roof. The quality of the roofing job was fine. The roofer did all the parts that the insurance adjuster had written up and said that he was going to do the patio cover as well because the insurance company would pay for it. The roof on the back patio was fairly new - but they don?t make that color anymore. So, they chose a color to match, and went ahead and did the patio cover. The insurance company is now baulking that they didn?t get it approved before they did the work. We had had a bad storm and it was called a catastrophe. There were a lot of people that needed a roof at the same time, and I guess it wouldn?t be fair to say that they didn?t come right away. The roof had leaks and I needed to get it fixed right away. They were supposed to come and undertake some temporary measures while everything was waiting - it actually took a couple of weeks. We had a very rainy season, and every time it rained, I was cringing because I knew water was coming in somewhere. By the time they got to do the emergency measures, it was only two days before they actually started doing the roof. I would probably use them again because I don?t blame them for the delay.

The roof job went very smoothly. It took a couple days. The workers arrived when they were expected, put on the roof I asked for, put on some finishing touches, such as painting the vents, and cleaned up. But this company is remarkable for their cooperation with my solar project, which followed the new roof installation. Any coordination I requested was cheerfully granted. In addition, there was some confusion with the City roof inspector, which the roofer immediately accommodated without delay or extra cost to me.

Excellent job: quality of work is excellent, work crews were competent and cooperative, completed in 3 weeks and within estimated prices (some restorative work was not bid at a fixed price). Roofing contractor arranged for, managed and coordinated subcontractors for restorative work not included in its primary re-roof work.

The work was done in two days while I was at work. On the first day when I arrived home, the workmen wear cleaning up from the days work. Their equipment and supplies were very neatly arranged for the next days completion. When I got home the next day from work, everything was finished and my yard didn't look like anyone had even been there. I have never found any nails or old roofing materials anywhere around the house or yard. They painted my vent stacks on top of the house and even my mailbox to match! It was really in need of some paint so I was very pleased.
