Definitely not reliable! Hired them to replace a lift pump in my house and less than a month after install it caught on fire and flooded our basement because a loose pipe was left in the pit and caused the motor to burn out. Second plumber came out and replaced pump but did not seal it. Now every time water runs through the pump the basement fills with sewage smell. Was told by third plumber nothing they could do. Management told me if the pump is working there is nothing they can do.

I've used them several time for various straightforward plumbing tasks and have always gotten good service. They arrive on time and usually can come out the same day or the next day. They're careful not to make a mess, and clean up the work area carefully. They charge by the task rather than by the hour, which I think is a good system. They seem expensive compared to plumbers in the little town I moved here from, but they are probably fairly priced for Boulder.

Was very efficient...just lossening the toilet fixture at the base caused a change in the suction I guess...and immediately the toilet cleared itself....no charge was given for this service...really appreciated everything about this company.

The work done was good, but he was very grumpy because he showed up early and had to wait for me since I didn't get home until the time of the appointment.

technicians were professional, friendly and courteous; showed me my options to correct a problem that I myself caused when I tried to DIY. Very confident in the work done.

Had over $5k worth of work performed to include replacing a hot water heater, replacing leaking valves, and correcting the routing of a drainage pipe that ran from one side of my home to the other. Tony and his apprentice Lucas did everything in their proposal and more, to include helping me with rebuilding the cabinet under one of my sinks that were damaged by a leaking valve. I'm highly satisfied with my decision to have the work done by JD's and have complete confidence in all of the work performed.

This guy did not want to do any work and he didn't. I paid a total of $50.00. For no service and no solutions except that there was a Home Depot close by. I knew that because I have lived here 20+ years.

It was awful. I was quoted outrageous prices for the repairs like $90 to replace a sprinkler head and $70 to add a clamp around a hose end-cap. To his credit, he did take 20 seconds and added the clamp for free but in the end our water pressure issue never got resolved. I had another repairman out and he had diagnosed the problem of a pinched hose caused by a tree root over the phone and only charged $20 to replace the sprinkler head.

Tony was great! He worked steadily until everything was done. He actually finished ahead of schedule. He explained everything he was doing as he fixed the problems. He gave us an estimate on adding another faucet outside and checked the outside faucets for leaks. We would hire JD's Plumbing service again without hesitation.

Repairman came out and addressed the issue said to call if any issues arose. There was a small leak and had to call to come back; same day of call (free of charge) to tighten the repair to ensure no leaks.

The technician was very professional and was on time, however, he only found what we already knew was wrong with the sprinkler heads and the leak in the black tubing. When this service was completed the cost to have these items repaired was going to be way to high. We declined the repair and found another company that repaired the items and only charged 1/4th of what JD Plumbing was going to charge. I sort of felt like the offer of $90.00 to evaluate the system was to high since the price we paid to have the other company do all these repairs was only $125.00 total. This included parts and digging out the sprinkler heads and repairing them. I feel JD Plumbing is a professional company, just over priced.

service was good on the heads being replaced but after i paid the ridiculous amount i found the sprinkler box had been leaking forever and setup wrong YET the technician said ALL was great. They did come back out and discounted the effort and repaired and replaced the entire box. AGAIN, nothing negative on JD's Plumbing, it is buyer beware. IF YOU HIGHER A PLUMBING COMPANY TO DO SPRINKLERS, you will pay a RIDICULOUS amount and based on what happened they don't have any more knowledge and possible less than a landscape company.

Service was great!  They were great.  They came when they said they were going to and did the work that they said they were going to and let us know what other stuff that they would recommend getting done at some point but weren’t pushy about it.

It went well. Tony arrived on time and did an excellent job, rebuilding both toilets. I am happy with the result.

I was a little surprised at cost and how they set their fee; it was a flat rate for each service independent of the amount of time needed for the service (similar to a car repair shop). But, it has been numerous years since I've used a plumber, so difficult to say how price compares to other plumbers. Faucet was cleaned out and now works. Toilet "innards" were fully replaced but water still drains out of the bowl. Several straps added to secure sump pump pipes, but the pipes still bang. I suspect the banging is caused by something besides loose discharge pipes, but don't know for sure. I did not contact the company and ask them to come back.

The work was accomplished with no problems and minimum disruption.

Great! They were timely, professional and explained everything that they were doing (and the costs) every step of the way. Really great experience.

I really liked the individual that came out to my home. He was friendly, did good work, was honest and efficient.

It went well but it was overpriced.
