Awesome work by Highland Painting Company!  Will is great and did an incredible job on a deck that very much needed work.  Will was able to get this project done within five days of us agreeing on a price, and did the project as promised.  Great to work with.  Highly rec

Highland Painting Company charged me way too much. He tried to gouge me for another $500.00 at the end of the job. They didn't put tarps down. There was paint all over my concrete. They actually drove their truck up onto my lawn. There were oil stains that I basically had to scrub off of my concrete. The guy was very rude while he was actually doing the work. He was extremely polite when he gave me his estimate, but then he's very rude afterwards. The paint itself is chipping because they didn't do a very good job prepping the work. They let the paint chips fall wherever they wanted to. I had to basically pick all the paint chips up out of my wood. They didn't go over it with at least two coats of paint, so I had to sit there and watch them to make sure they came back and did the second coat. When I was following them, to make sure they did what I wanted, there was nothing but constant bitching. I've done a lot of work to my house. I've had a lot of construction work done throughout the years, and they were without a doubt the worst company that I have ever dealt with.

Painting began on February 16, 2012  as we left town for a 5 day trip  We were scheduled to return on the 21st.  This gave the painters 5 days to complete the project while we were away.  This included a Sunday and a holiday, so there was some concern whether the project would be completed on time for our return.  The project was completed when we returned home and was in a very livable condition that evening. Computers, phones, televisions were all working as before. There were a few small tweaks needed at the end, and Will promptly returned to repair these during the following week.  In all, this was a very pleasant surprise as to how smoothly it all went.  I had been dreading this project for years based on a horrible past experience with another painting company.  Will was a true professional with his estimate, communication, quality and follow up.

They were very professional. They did a terrific job, they got it done in a day. They were on time and very prompt. They stand by their work. I would recommend them very highly.
