We had 150 feet off or fence replaced. Joe was real responsive, and he and his guys did a quick, yet great job. They got in and got the job done even faster than promised, at the price quoted.

Joe and his team were on time in finishing the fence work and for the cost promised. The new fencing looks great and now I have more fencing work that I want him to come back and do. Very satisfied with the work done. Thank you for being so responsive and willing to work with me as this job has some strange logistics with the owner of the home on the other side of the fence and myself each paying half of the total cost.

Joe put up our fence about 2 years ago. A car went through it a few weeks ago and Joe came out and repaired it. He was very timely and did a great job. I highly recommend Joe.

We had several estimate to complete our fence and Joe was the by far the most professional. The quality of work is fantastic, especially for the price. The job was completed quickly and on time. Joe even came by a few days after installation to look over the fencing. I would use Hanley Fence and Deck again without hesitation.

I have a weird corner in the back of my yard and they custom built the fence to cover the area in a way I could not have even imagined. My entire yard is on a slope and they were able to make the fence even causing an illusion of a straight yard. The quality of the wood is great, I was promised a specific time frame which was fulfilled, they cleaned up the entire yard leaving not even a broken branch was left behind. All in all, everything is better than I expected. I'm already letting everyone know who to go to when they need a new fence.

Promptly responded to my request for a meeting.  Came over with some samples and and listened to what I wanted and gave me a price within a couple days.  Bid was very competitive and they were able to fit me in quickly.  Were short some material due to a small measurement error and since it was their mistake didn't try and change the price.  Work took about as long as they said it would even though they had a lot of crappy weather.  Workmanship exceeeded my expectations with some nice touches I didn't specify like steps down to the rear gate and re-orienting an outside gas connection.

Great job, quick work, but without sacrificing quality.

I had them do some work for me. He was very professional. He always returned e-mails. He got right out here and gave us an estimate, and did the work may be a week later. He was excellent.

Joe (the owner) gave a rough estimate over the phone prior to stopping by and measuring the fence. Rough estimate was accurate and reflected our final balance. Joe luckily had an opening the following week (otherwise was booked out >4 weeks, as were all the other companies we contacted for estimates). Because of his competitive estimate (wasn't the lowest, but was lower than the median) and his ability to get the fence done quickly, we hired him. It was nice to see Joe here DOING the job (with help, of course). They removed the old fence and set the posts in concrete the first day. They came back two days later to install the rails, pickets, and gate. The quality of red cedar they used was good (pickets 3.5" wide, 1" thick) and the fence looks great. Very sturdy. They did an excellent job cleaning up. Joe was very professional before, during, and after installation. We would highly recommend them.

Joe and I walked the lot and designed the fence, and a week later the wood was delivered and the team was working. The project took just 2.5 days. The team cleaned up everything, and didn't make much mess. My only regret was not pulling a permit ahead of the project, as I later had to chase that down for the city inspector.

Received an estimate,  arrived at appointed time performed the task, all works great.

Joe performed work with great care and cleanliness. The finished product improved the overall appearance of my property.

The home I bought had an old and falling- down fence across the back yard.  There is a grade school and a middle school across the street from my back yard and we have a lot of young children walking past this fence on their way to and from school. I was concerned for their safety and since school had already started I wanted the fence replaced quickly.  The first couple of companies I contacted never returned my calls.  One gave me a rough estimate over  the phone but couldn't get out to look at the job for over a week.  My experience with Hanley Fence and Deck was just the opposite.  Every time I called I got an immediate answer or a return call within a couple of hours.  Joe came out promptly to look at the job and sent me an e-mail estimate the next day.  His bid was a tad higher than the lowest bid I got (for what that company called an "economy fence" with lower grade lumber and cheaper gate hardware).
Joe was able to start work  4 work days after I contracted the job.  In the meantime, in order to save some money, I dismantled the old fence.  When I told Joe didn't want to dig out the old post concrete he said "no problem. We will work around them."  The day they arrived to begin work I still had one post I couldn't get out.  Joe said  "I'll cut it off at the ground -- no charge." 
Bottom line:  The crew was courteous, efficient and obviously had pride in their work.  Everything about  the fence and their work was First Class!  I won't use any one else in the future. 

Joe was the best.  I live in Lookout Mountain and couldn't even get other fencing companies to come up.  Joe came right up, bid the job and installed the fence right away.  Even though the terrain was a bit hilly in spots, Joe was able to install the fence perfectly.  We also had Joe do some deck work while he was up.  I would give Joe my highest recommendation.

I called Joe after a no-show and no-call from another fencing provider I used in the past. He was able to come over the next day for the estimate. He immediately just "got" what my wife and I were looking for, especially the decorative fence. He emailed the estimate a few days later, along with a picture of a fence he had done similar to what we were looking for.
Joe started about a week and a half later. He worked really well with adjustments and changes that came up, and had really good recommendations for all of them. He worked with us to make some changes on the fly at minimal cost. I actually didn't realize he did concrete work, but he was able to quote me for that work on the first day. It came in below other quotes I had so we went for it. And he worked it in so the walkway matched perfectly with the new fence placement.  The concrete crew could have cleaned up a little better, but I got a great price and the work itself was great, so I can't really complain. Joe and his guy did a great job on the fence cleanup, and even hauled off some additional old fencing we had laying around for no charge.
The new fence and concrete both look great, all of the neighbors have complimented us on it.

Joe was one of the few vendors that responded right away and was able to do my work in a couple of weeks from the time he gave me the estimate.   Two did not bother to call me back.  There was some minor miscommunication, mainly because I did not even know what questions to ask.  He was quick and professional.  I have gotten several compliments on the new fence.

I liked everything about them. They did exactly what they said they would do and in the time they said they would do. They actually did a little extra for me for practically no extra charge. I am very happy with the fence.
