I purchased this at checkout through Costco to have my TV and mount hung. The first time it was scheduled, the pro cancelled 2 hours before the scheduled time. The app rescheduled again, and then the pro no-showed so I called Handy customer service. They apologized and rescheduled again and promised it'd be done on that new date (today). That brings us to today, the pro cancelled last minute again. I called customer support and they said there was nothing they can do. I asked if they would reach out to their pros list and try and get someone assigned today. They said that is not possible and they cannot help me. So here I am $100 out with no service and no support. Extremely disappointed. I 100% suggest not using Handy, which is no fault of Costco, but I definitely recommend after my experience and the review of others that Costco reevaluate their contract and partnership with Handy.

I signed up for cleaning services. No one showed up twice in a row. I asked for a refund and they told me they would charge me a $99 fee for terminating my plan early. I would not wish to terminate my plan if somebody would actually show up. I'm not interested in paying for a ghost cleaner.

Handy had such great reviews on angies list that I called them to schedule a cleaning. The young woman that came had a carpet cleaner / vacuum cleaner (I didn’t ask for the carpets to be cleaned). In the course of vacuuming my family room Her machine completely emptied gallons of water on my carpet, she didn’t tell me and I discovered it an hour after she left as I stood with water over my toes. I tried to use a machine to get the water up but after pulling up 2 1/2,gallons of water everything was still soaked. I’ve had to rip up the carpet, the pad had to be removed and have to have the carpet reinstalled. It’s been a nightmare. Handy responded to my first email and offered me a twenty dollar credit towards my next cleaning and promised not to send the same young woman again! I’ve requested a phone call and further contact to address the matter. I’m out hundreds of dollars and can’t get any more response from them. I am exhausted and furious- pretty much the polar opposite of what you hope to feel after getting your house cleaned!!

not well in a nutshell. The young woman acted and said she knew how clean windows seemed eager to have work. No area in the small less than a thousand square feet unit was completely cleaned and some places were completely neglected like the kitchen floor and the inside the tub. She atempted to clean the windows and they we're still not clean but the biggest problem is that she cracked Windows and marred dented the walls where she propped the window panes. It is costing me more to have the walls repainted one wall in each room. So the bottom line is that I told her that perhaps she better not say that she could do windows because I really didn't think she can she agreed that she wasn't going to do windows in the future but in the meantime I've got to have somebody else come in and do the cleaning job properly and pay somebody else to take care of the damage to the walls from the window frames.

Company required payment in advance for cleaning job scheduled for Friday, 9/6/19 @ 10am. Company stated that I would be contacted by a cleaning Pro by end of day on 9/5/19. That never happened despite me emailing company twice asking for cleaner's name. Again, they assured me that someone would pick-up the job and a cleaner would contact me by 8 am on 9/6/19. On Friday, still no contact from cleaner. Company tell sent email rescheduling my job to following Monday. I then demanded a full refund and refused the reschedule date as I needed someone as I requested. Company was unprofessional and didn't deliver as promised. I did finally receive my full refund. However, I do not recommend this company for anything!!. Schedule at your own risk.!!

They never showed: I booked this appointment a month in advance. The day before, they changed the person that was to complete the work. Then on the day the service was to be provided (which I took time off from work), I received a text from the employee stating she was going to be late. Then I received another text stating she was stuck in traffic a second time and would be even more late. A couple of minutes later I got a message from the company cancelling my appointment due to an emergency. The did refund my money, however, they obviously do not have the staff to provide a consistent service, which is what I am looking for. Do not count on them when you need to have your placed cleaned prior to having guests over or a event.

She was prompt and courteous. Asked if there was anything special we wanted done. We just wanted the apartment cleaned. There were a few things that we expected to be done that weren't, like cleaning the kitchen sink where the dish drainer was, clean the outside of the tub where there was smudge. She had to use our Swifter to do the floors, she had forgotten her floor cleaning supplies. Minor things really. She started right away and was finished a little before the 3 .5 hours. We would use her again and see how it goes. She was pleasant and friendly and willing (, if we had any specific things to be done.) Overall, a good experience.

While the cleaning person (Kathy) did a good job, this is the only thing about the experience with Handy. It was impossible to get in touch with anyone when needed. The only department that was reachable by phone, was totally disconnected from the actual service department,.

Very well. Thomas did a great job. He was patient, neat and professional. He had a little 6 year-old "helper" and he was really great with her and let her "help" him assemble her bed. I have already booked Handy 2 more times since then.
