Greens With Envy

I want to write an honest review of Greens with Envy after my poor experience with them. Here are the pros and cons: Cons: Jared is very difficult to get a hold of and communicate with. We had 4 different dates for our turf install that came and went and we had a difficult time getting ahold of Jared. When we did get a hold of him, all we heard were excuses about the rain and his rolls of turf going missing. Multiple times he made firm commitments to complete the install on a fixed date but they never happened. Eventually we cancelled. Pros: When we decided to cancel, Jared worked quickly with us to get us a refund of our deposit and I had it within 24 hours. After the challenges in communication I was weary about getting a refund, and Jared worked hard to make us whole. Also, as we continued to have missed dates, Jared did offer discounts to keep our business. I appreciated that. However in the end, Jared could not live up to the commitments he made. We went with another turf company who had our job completed within 1 week from the initial call and that went very smoothly.

Geens with Envy earns an 'F' on our project. Unfortunately, at around 3months into it (yes, i said 3 months) I started to have the unnerving feeling that this would be the outcome. So, now at over more than 12 months later I have the realization that Jared would not ever bring our project to 100% completion. After a year he figured out why our fountain, which he installed, was leaking. This was after calling him, texting him to no avail many, many times. We finally had to start using other phones to call him and guess what- he answered right away. Jared talks a great game but you can't rely on him. Spend your money somewhere else, I wish I would have. A competing contractor warned me but we liked Jared so much, we didn't listen. This guy is the forever "yes" guy but if only he could live up to his word. King of the "no call, no show". My project still remains unfinished and I will have to pay another contractor to finish.
