Green Star Roofing - Denver

Our home is a southwestern style house that was built in the mid 1970's. The old clay tile shingles had begun to leak and it was obvious that something had to be done. We also wanted to add more roof that would tie in to the existing roof of the house to cover our 2 car garage, but were concerned that the added wight would be too much for the house roof.  After some research, we learned about stone-coated steel shingles and began a search for roofing contractors that could accommodate us. We chose Hb Greenstar based on price and a personal interview with the company's salesman. Several other roofing contractors that we checked did not really know how to do the steel shingle roofing, and tried to switch us to other, less desirable materials. One other contractor submitted a bid that was several thousand dollars higher than HB Greenstar's. The only complaint we had was that the material had to be shipped from California and this took longer than we anticipated.  When the material did arrive, the crew went right to work and did a very good job from start to finish. We have had many positive comments from neighbors about how good the roof looks and are very pleased with the outcome.
