In all aspects from phone coordination to measuring, installing, email communications the 4 different representatives I had contact with were courteous, skilled at their respective jobs and professional. I highly recommend this company. I spent 20 years in construction myself and these folks are good at what they do.

Great! Our sink had fallen down. They explained it had been installed with epoxy - it was just a matter of time until this happened. They decided the area was too small to use clips so they used pieces of wood, which they screwed into the walls of the wooden cabinet to support the sink. They applied a little sealant to the rim of the sink. There is now no way the sink will ever move. It is rock solid. I am so happy I found this company on Angies List.

These guys were awesome! I had a sink fall off the granite counter top into the cabinet below. I found these guys on the list, called Mike and he sent his guys over that afternoon. Not only did they fix my sink better than it was before, they went through my entire house and made sure the other sinks were done correctly and caulked all of them!! These guys are all about service! I would hire them again in a New York minute! Thanks Mike!

Not only did they redo the new counter tops, but they even took the old ones off of my hands and donated them so I found that extremely helpful as well.

The service was excellent. He came out on Saturday and showed up right when he said he would. Not only was he very friendly, he was also very professional. While he was here he worked very quickly but very efficiently. His price was reasonable, and I appreciated how he cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend them.

We found our granite through Granite Imports and selected Granite & Marble Designs because of their high rating on Angie's List.  We worked with Justin to get the granite laid out.  He was very helpful and patient.  We had a 122" length on one countertop and he was able to help us with that.  We needed to get a remnant from their yard for the laundry room and Justin was very helpful in getting one of the same type as the rest.  He was also VERY quick to respond to my e-mails and get me the details/estimates.
They didn't have the stainless sink we wanted but they were happy to work with one we provided to them without any issues.  The template guy, Chad, was punctual and also very friendly.  We got scheduled quickly and in what would work for our schedule.
The install guys didn't know they were going to have to do a tearout - I should have reviewed the contract more carefully because we didn't have it in there.  That threw off their scheduling but things were able to work out.  The install guys weren't the cleanest people but blamed it on the fact that there was a lot of extra work - even though my wife offered to clear out under the cabinets to help things along.  They did a quality job installing and ended up having to come back the second day because the backsplashes needed extra milling.
I had an issue when I went to install the faucets - but Mike and I were able to work through the issue and he was very patient with my complaints and sent Chad out to help me get the faucets in (we had 5 sinks) and ensure they would fit in each sink.
I thought Mike especially was very concerned with our satisfaction and was very understanding and responsive to our needs.
I like these guys because they are honest and let you know where things stand with the job.  They're not a fancy showroom or high volume, and I like that because they all knew my and our job personally and took pride in making sure we were happy with the final outcome.

From day one when I had my first conversation with Shawn in sales it was smooth sailing. I told him that I had purchased an Angieslist coupon and that I wanted to use it for this job. I told him I want a white quartz for my countertop and that it need to be within my price range. He found it for me within a few days. The instalation went well and my countertop now looks beautiful. I have refused them to many of my friends and give them an A+ to anyone looking on Angieslist.

Terrible experience, be very wary if you work with Sean and/or Dina. Whoever did the template measured incorrectly, this caused them to have to remove all the mirrors in three bathrooms, plus I got stuck with disposing the mirrors, major hassle. I had to buy new mirrors in three bathrooms, close to $1,000 bucks. Emailed Sean about this issue, he did nothing to correct their error. Sean has no integrity, what a joke of a company.

Don't trust anything Dina tells you about scheduling. She told us that the whole project would be done in one day, we were astounded to hear this, even called her twice to confirm. The countertops took five separate days, and the backsplash another five days, total of 10 days. Dina and Sean are just slimy salespeople, will tell you anything, all lies.

Be extremely cautious about the quality of work they do, almost everything they did needed touch up work. They do NOT have any quality control, if you are not inspecting every inch of their work, watch out. They really don't care about your home.

Communication is a joke with this company. We had them install the backsplash, you can't buy the materials from them. They subcontract the backsplash labor, they didn't speak English, had to constantly call the Foreman who wasn't on site.
Response from Granite & Marble Designs Inc.
"Customers review is totally out of line. Everything was completely over exaggerated including what he spent on the project. The total on the project was $9881.75 with the $750 angie's list discount and was paid in full. The scheduling of this size of a job and the scope of work involved including 3 vanity tops, kitchen, kitchen splash and tear out of all of them would never take just 1 day. I know that Dina would never tell a customer this. She knows that anything that has this much tear out and install will require 2-3 days of work plus another 2-3 days for the tile splash. I'm sure that Shawn even shared this with them in the beginning when he sold the job.The customer has to be mistaken for him thinking the job would take. He probably heard that the tear out would take 1 day and took it that the whole job would be 1 day. And yes sometimes with remodel installations there can be some unforeseen complications that lead to some additional time, however my schedule does not show 10 days of return trips back to the job. This is highly blow out of proportion. As for the mirrors this was a suggestion by the homeowners and we normally don't remove mirrors unless we are asked to. Normally we would just rip the splash down to the correct height and install them under the mirror, not that hard of a solution. I'm not sure why Mr [Member Name Removed] had to buy new mirrors and if so and we were responsible why weren't we sent a bill. He paid his bill entirely with no other discounts, so why we got this angry review I do not know. In closing we try to please every customer we can, however unless we hear what is displeasing with a customer we don't get the opportunity to make it right."

My husband has an old pot metal plant stand that we use in our living room. It needed a new piece of marble for the center. I was hoping to find a marble scrap that could be saved from the landfill and repurposed. I searched Angie's List, found Granite and Marble Designs - an A-rated company - and set out to visit them.

I met Shawn Smith when I arrived and explained what I was looking for. He asked some questions and then went to look through their scrap pieces. He found a beautiful beige piece from which he could cut my piece. I told him it was going to be a Christmas present for my husband and he said he'd call when it was ready. The next day, he called and I picked it up the following day. He sealed the stone with a special sealer and it really looks gorgeous.

I'm having some repairs made to the plant stand. The marble will look beautiful when it is placed into the center of the stand. My husband and I won't want to cover up the marble by putting anything on it!

Granite and Marble Designs fabricated a custom recycled glass and resin countertop for my kitchen. I worked with Shawn Smith who measured and calculated how much countertop I needed to order. Shawn's calculations were exact, there was no excess material ordered which saved me money. The countertop fit perfectly, installation was quick and the seams were well done, they are barely noticeable.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and the experience was good. I paid about $1,700 additional above the price of the Big Deal. I did not have any dislikes and we were given a lot of selection, they met our time line effectively and the pricing was very fair. I have not had any issues since the service was provided.  We had to work with a wholesaler because we bought the material and it involved a little bit or running around rather than just dealing with them directly. We felt odd that they would offer a special on granite and then have us go running around to a wholesaler and not buy it from them. Then they show up with the piece all cut and fabricated. I think they should disclose the process a little better to let the purchaser better understand the Big Deal they bought. I would recommend them because of their timely communication and honest pricing.

Jackie was so good to work with! She was always prompt to get back with me when I had questions.  We have never had granite before so this whole process is new to us. Jackie helped me all along the way and was so pleasant to work with.  I got bids from several places and Granite and Tile Design in Denver was by FAR the best price.  They sent out a  templater who was very knowledgable and helpful.  The granite was ready for installation even before our floors were finished. GTD was very accommodating in installing when it best suited us. Since this is the first time for us to have granite, I did not realize that some granite is more porous than others.  Apparently the granite we selected  was more porous and not as smooth as glass when finished like I assumed it would be.  The granite looks great but if I ever do it again, I will be sure to make sure the granite is not so porous that it can't be finished like glass.

Price -- We contacted another company first which we thought would be reasonably priced  and got a bid of $6,810 for the job.  Then found Granite & Marble Designs as top rated on Angie's List, so called them.  Their price, including an upgraded granite slab and addition of the bar came to $4,150.  The first company told me he didn't understand how Granite Marble could do it for that price and that he couldn't come close to matching it.
Service -- It was a pleasure to work with Jackie.  Through the entire process she gave me advice, met us at a wholesaler to help us pick our slab, had us come to their shop to approve where the template was placed on the slab, and always responded promptly and professionally, and was there for us from beginning to end.
Installation -- The templating and the installation and plumbing hook up all went smoothly.   They were on time, polite and professional.
Promptness -- Although we spent 6 weeks on the process, it was only because we spent lots of time looking for the granite slab, asking Jackie for advice, and making decisions.   It only took them a few days to schedule the templating and just under a week to schedule the installation.
Problems -- The only problems we encountered were that the plumber installed the garbage disposal on the side of the sink where I didn't want it, but it was on the side that is "should" be on.  I was just not paying attention and hadn't told him otherwise.   When I saw the problem, he re-installed it for a small fee.    There was also an error on the billing which they sent to me to check, but I didn't catch it until a few weeks later - that we had paid for an item we had discussed but decided not to do.   When I brought this to Jackie's attention, she promptly issued a refund.
We love our countertops and would wholeheartedly recommend Granite&Marble Design.
