Furniture Medic

Sherri repaired deep scratches in the hardwood floor, stained to match existing color and sealed the area. We can't even tell where the scratches were.  Excellant job!

I contacted Randy by phone and we made an appointment for him to come to our home to look at the repairs needed and give an estimate.  He was on time and very professional.  I was very pleased with the estimate of $165, for all the repairs we needed.  Nothing too major, just a lot of little things.  He took the pieces with him to repair at his shop.  Randy did not get back with me when he said he would, however within a day or two after our meeting, we experienced the flood.  He explained he was getting many calls to give estimates for flood damages.  I totally understand, and there was no hurry to get our pieces back.  We made another appointment for him to come back with the fixed items.  Once again, he came on time and everything was completed.  I was very impressed with the quality of the work.  The cracked drawer front and the mirror were the two most impressive.  He had to patch new wood onto the old, and this bedroom set is over 50 years old.  If you didn't know it was done, you wouldn't be able to tell.  The stain was nearly an exact match.  The total cost was exactly what he estimated.  I feel it was a bargain for the great work he did.  I would recommend using Furniture Medic - Randy Buchter if you need any furniture repaired.  His phone number is 303.434.5363 and e mail is [email protected].

The work took much longer than the 2 weeks they promised. They were later starting the job than promised, and the color of the side lights beside the door did not match the original color. They did bring someone out again to fix the problem. When they finally brought the front door back it was beautiful for about a month, then began to bubble in several different places.  I called them and they removed the door, promising to have it back in a week. After 10 days they finally brought it back, but the evidence of the bubbles is still there.  I am disappointed by their workmanship and attention to detail.

Our previous tenants had a dog that chewed up the corners on the kitchen cabinets in our rental house. Furniture Medic came out to repair the damage. They matched and filled the chew damage...the repair looks fantastic and is virtually undetectable. They were on time, professional, did a great job, and I thought the price was very fair. Overall, they did a great job!

Furniture Medics came out and removed the broken extension and took it to get a matching extension assembly. We waited about two weeks for them to get the needed part. They didn't give us an estimate of how long it would take, but we didn't think it was unreasonable. The person who repaired the table did an excellent job. The table was repaired perfectly. The man was very friendly and helpful. Note that there are several "Furniture Medics" in the Phone book. We went with the one on South University. The others were not affiliated with the one we chose. We were very happy with the results.

Even though they say they are a furniture medic they do a great job repairing the floors as well. I was very pleased with the service. They were able to pick the perfect color stains to match everything. The floor looks fantastic.

I liked that they came out and picked it up, however they were highly uncommunicative with me with regards to date of completion. I would call and not get return phone calls for several weeks. When I finally got my piece back, the work was well done. I was just worried at times that I would never see it again! I would not use them again.

COMPANY MISSED INITIAL APPOINTMENT AND HAD TO RESCHEDULE ME. HOWEVER, THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB SMOOTHING AND REFINISHING WOOD. TABLE AND BENCHES LOOK BRAND NEW.
