FLYING BEDS

Is this company REALLY in business. I had been seeing Flying Beds on my way to work. There were located off of the I-70 forntage road. They moved and I tracked them down to the their new location. It's tucked away in a low rent industrial area. They were still close to work. I stopped by one day at lunch. There was a note on the door that said "Running an errand". OK! I'll try again later. A few weeks later, I swung back again at lunch. The doors were open but NO ONE was in the showroom or the shop. They did have a nice cat guarding the showroom. A worker doing concrete work popped in and said the owner JUST left. He gave me a card and said I should call Ron. A few weeks later, I called and spoke to Ron McKey. It was 11:45. I said I'd be there between noon and 12:15. I arrived 12:07. NO ONE in the showroom. Some one was in the 1st workshop collecting money for something. There were a bunch of people in the 2nd workshop but they were all too busy to assist. There was NO sign of Ron. THREE strikes and you're out. I ordered it in late Dec. '07. It finally arrived in early October '08 after I demanded my money back. It seems to be a nice piece of furniture, but there was some confusion about a desk I tried to order. The vendor should have just sent the bed when it was finished. This took way too long to be manufactured, and to arrive. I wonder whether other consumers have had similar experiences, or whether this was a fluke.
