We had a really great experience working with this company. They were very fair in their price and pleasant to work with. We had told them we would rip out the existing tile to save a few $'s before their installer came to put in the new tile. Of course we put this off until the last minute and discovered a bigger problem requiring replacement of the cement board. The installer (who came expecting a clean floor ready for installation) was so calm and friendly about the change in plans (as was the management). He did a great job helping to problem solve and come up with a plan. The tile is now in and it looks really great. I don't write many reviews, but I felt like they deserve a good one.

from the time I went into the showroom to look at samples, to the date the carpet was installed, I was impressed with the professionalism of all the people.  Jane was a great salesperson, the measurement guy Dave was on time and very nice, and the three installers Alan, Jose, and Arturo showed up on time and got to work immediately, working quickly and efficiently.  I will use this company again for the next carpet/flooring project.

Purchased everything in May and didn't get it installed until July.

I had two sales reps come to my house to talk about what I wanted done and to measure the area that I wanted hardwood floors put in. The following Saturday, I went to EMW to meet with Michael to pick out the wood & finish, as well as schedule the work and pay a deposit to hold that scheduled date. One week before the job was to start, the wood was delivered to the house to allow it to aclimate to the temp/humidity of the house.The morning of the job, a team of three arrived, introduced themselves and immediately started work. They answered any questions I had about the process/timing of the project. They worked every day during that week and finished on that Saturday. The team cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and called to keep me posted on the status. Overall, the job was done very well. Only one item remained incomplete and that was to replace the front plate on the bottom of the dishwasher.

We are absolutely thrilled with EMW. We hired them to refinish our hardwood floors after having a terrible experience with another company.  EMW gave us a fair price.  The work was done professionally, on time, and the results are fantastic.  Brian and his crew were incredible.  We could not be happier and I highly recommend EMW.

Everyone that came to the house was great. They were all professional and nice to deal with. I felt that the installation was impeccable - extremely well done even in some pretty difficult areas. The finishing was also equally great. I really couldn't be happier with how the floors turned out. All in all, I would highly recommend EMW. They aren't the cheapest in town, but they do a great job and that is worth the price.

There are only 2 detractions that I would have about EMW. First, they were booked about 10 week out for finishing which could pose a problem for some jobs. Also, I would like to see EMW adopt technology a bit more. The sales person was not able to (easily) email us the quote which I found problematic. I prefer having an emailed copy of all quotes and invoices so that I have a readily available record of everything. Also, I don't like to deal with handwritten invoices and quotes because I feel like I need to check all of the work and the math.

All in all, I would recommend EMW for hardwood installation and finishing. They did not disappoint at all.

Salesperson was helpful with samples over a couple of weeks period. Estimator on time and quick at my home. Installation crew was excellent. Fair amount of furniture to be moved about. (Including bunk beds) Overall very pleased.

I found them through a friends recommendation. They installed new flooring and refinished some older flooring for me.

The usual shopping around for carpeting eventually led me to EMW since I was driving by.  Seemed like a smaller store and I didn't want to deal with any more huge stores.  Nothing special for price or selection.  People were friendly and fairly efficient.  Seemed like it took quite a while for the carpet to come in.  It was about a month from the time I bought the carpet to the time I got it installed.  The installer was good, but no challenges in this install.

Their price was reasonable.  The installer was awesome.  He came in and laid the carpet.  It was wonderful, and he left.  It wasn’t like he didn’t piece it together like the second one I have used.  It was all just done right.  The carpet is holding up excellent.

They had a good selection and good prices.

After my initial call, they were our within two days to complete the project. They have very reasonable prices and work very efficiently. Rich Jones was the technician that came out to do the service. He is very pleasant to work with and very good at his job.

The saleswoman who provided service was patient and helpful. Athough, I do wish that she would have told me that the type of carpet I selected had various issues that needed to be addressed with the installation. When the installers arrived they told me that the staples would show through the carpet on the stairs. They were able to work around that to decrease the visibility of the staples but I can still see some. After eight hours, they were finally finished. I went into the rooms to find razor blades strewn 20 feet away from the project and an overall mess. I expected some cleanup on my part but not that much. I broke two vacuums. I called the sales rep the next day. I expected an apology from the company. I didn't receive one. There were several issues with how the carpet was laid and aligned. Their carpet repair person was helpful with most of those issues. I still have a large seam that sticks out like a sore thumb in the master bedroom. I don't think I would use them again.

I purchased the carpet at EMW and was pleased to learn that they did not contract out the installation, but had their own installation team. I felt that the price for my carpet was reasonable and that the selection was good. I did shop around before I decided what I wanted. The installation team arrived on time and were very professional and did a good job. I am very pleased with both the carpet and the installation. The salesperson called to ask if I was pleased and if I had any complaints.

We were pleasantly surprised to find out that if you buy carpet from them rather than the diy stores that there is a higher grade of pad available, which makes the carpeting feel more plush and that the warranty was extended by 5 more years on the same brand. The carpet estimator was very punctual, professional and gave us a copy of the completed drawing of our area. I have had several carpets installed. Their installer was a grade above the rest. He was punctual, courteous, professional and took care of our home. You could tell that he was being careful not to scratch our walls, wood floors and wood baseboards. Wow!

They are locally owned. We did competitive bidding. We bought the carpet at the spring sale the company does. We got a very good price. The carpet was in cubes and rectangles. They did a good job of getting the layout right downstairs. The carpet fit neatly and they did not use 15 times of the carpet needed. It was a 6 day project. They were very good.
