Very unprofessional. I had to ask the crew to leave at 8 pm at night and they weren’t happy with me. They were not interested in taking care of the details correctly. They just wanted to be fast. They removed carpet and laminate and replaced it with luxury vinyl plank. I expected them to drop the baseboards, but they stopped at that. Some of my door jambs and trim are a mess and they gave me no guidance on how to resolve. They left a floor outlet sticking out of the floor and said nothing. They removed the floor guides for the sliding closet doors. When I asked how they were going to fix it they said to go to Home Depot and buy taller ones and stick them down with double sided tape. I paid a lot of money for a professional installation and that’s not what I got. I’m having to pay other contractors to deal with these issues.

Two years after Empire replaced all the carpet in our house, we had to have the entire house restretched. Their installation warranty is only 1 year, so we were out-of-pocket on having the carpet stretched. We certainly didn't have Empire do it the second time. In 50 years of home ownership, my carpet from Empire is the only one problem I have ever had. Even Empire said it was unusual, but too bad.

Installers caused a lot of damage to my walls, baseboards, cabinets. I expected to touch-up paint here and there, but I need actual professional repairs. The install supervisor left with 10 minutes, leaving 3 non-English speaking installers with whom I could not communicate. They rushed through the job and left in a hurry. Now I know why, since I am still discovering damage a week later. I will never hire or recommend them and I wish Angi had never referred me there.

Terrible!! Took over 3 months for resolution of problems. Will never use again. They did not fix a flooring problem prior to installing new over it. This despite being told about the issue. No transition strips used where needed. After over 3 months, someone finally came out to fix the problems. Overall, TERRIBLE service.

Horrible. Cancelled on us several times, then never showed without cancelling. Don't answer their phone and voice mailbox full.Ended up having to cancel. Was promised a quick refund. Weeks out, still no refund Don't deal with these people

Their sales rep was very up front about their pricing. They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive; and I found this to be true. I chose Empire because they seem very eager to stand behind their products. I appreciate this! I was surpised that they actually do not have a lot of diverse options to chose from, but I must say that they did offer exactly what I wanted.The crews installing did an excellent job. They were very neat and courteous. I am very happy with my new floors!! There was only one thing about the entire process I did not appreciate. The sales rep that came to our home is extremely pushy! While he is obviously a good sales person, he made you feel as though it was a huge inconvenience for him to return if you were just going to choose them anyway. It made the free estimate feel not-so-free. I felt very pressured, so just be prepared for that. But I would certainly use them again!

I give them an A for our sales representative, but a B or below for the installation. Our salesman rocked! He was punctual, friendly, and gave us mutiple flooring options for our new home. He spent time explaning each option and priced out numerous scenarios for us. He was tip top! But, onto installation... They were able to schedule for next day service which was ideal. We were very happy about that. However, the saleman said we would receive 2 calls. 1 call to verify that we were on for installation the next day and another call to let us know when they were on their way. We never received the first call. We had not moved into the home yet and it is an hour away from our other house, so we asked for a 1 hour courtesy call prior to the service. I received a call from them saying they were on their way and would be at the location shortly. That was a surprise. I quickly sent my husband on his way, but they were there within 30 minutes and waiting for us. They called me more than once asking why no one was there and I repeatedly explained they were to give us an hour's notice. I was having a hard time understanding the installer over the phone and when I told him that, he hung up on me. I had to call the main number to figure out next steps; it was kind of embarassing to have to explain that to the customer service representative. We got that figured out and they said they'd be done by 4 or 5 and would give us a call. After 5 came and went with no call and no answer when we called them, we headed up that way. Unforntuately, they didn't finish until after 7, so we were waiting around outside while they worked. I guess we should have waited for the call. The work was done relatively well but after the installers left we found that where they had joined the carpet to other flooring, such as bathrooms, the metal carpet trim was placed too high and the doors wouldn't close. We were able to pound some of it down with a rubber mallet. They probably called to check in with us on the service, but never left a message, so I didn't call them about it since I didn't want to drive an hour to the house to have them come try to fix it. Overall a good product so far in the home. The experience could have gone just a little more smoothly.

This is the 3rd time I've had these company do work for me.  They are all very professional and quick.  I had a very large room installed with carpet as well as tile and it is beautiful.  They always have me inspect their work and do any repairs if needed.  This was done in one day.  The work was done so beautifully that I called them back the same week and had them install tile in my kitchen and they were very quick to do that, also in one day.  The floor was in pretty bad shape under the existing tile and, was pretty noisy when walked on.  They walked the kitchen, found everything that made noise and screwed down.  I no longer have a noisy floor and it's wonderful.  They put down a sub floor and none slip tile so I no longer worry about slipping plus it's beautiful.  We did find a couple of things that needed repair on the tile and Angle, the installer came back on Sunday and repaired them.  He was wonderful and professional and I would definitely have them all do work for me again.  Actually Angle did the downstairs tile and we requested him back to do the kitchen.  I still have a couple of rooms that need carpet and I wouldn't hesitate to call them back.  The gentleman that originally came out was Garrett, and he was extremely helpful in helping us choose colors.  I definitely would call him back and I highly recommend this company.

Fast response to request for quote, sales person was knowledgeable, a little hard sell but actually delightful, he loves his company and his product. 
We were trying to decide between Empire and Lowes for a carpet installation to get our home ready for sale. Price wise, we might have been able to go less expensive with Lowes but it would have taken a few weeks to get someone in - and really, there wasn't a huge price difference. Empire was able to get in within the next couple of days. We know we paid a premium for speed, and we were not disappointed.
The carpet and flooring are satisfactory - not hugely plush, but we weren't choosing the carpet that we wanted to live on. That'll maybe come with the next house, we'll see - we may decide to go with the longer wait if we can find something that is significantly less expensive.
The absolute best part about the whole experience was the installation itself. The people Empire contracted out to for the install (and I should find their card and write a review about them) were incredible. They did 2500 sq feet in one day - much better than the two days we had been told to expect. Sure, they were there until 8:00 PM and brought in a second crew that had finished at another site to get it done, but we were still impressed. Those guys worked their tails off, and Empire chose them, so Empire gets kudos for that as well.

The sales person was prompt and extremely polite. The sales person did provide us with multiple options to look at, and allowed us to take them around the house to visually see how it look. Towards the end of the estimate the sales person became a little bit more pushy about making additional sales and trying to convince us to finance the rest. Overall the sales person was really good, he even  provided us with a next day install starting time which was far later than normal. The installers called before they arrived and even waited an extra few minutes while I was stuck in traffic.The installers did talk over all our options with us with regards to trim and quarter rounding. They verified the product and confirmed measurements. The installers were very polite and courteous Even with a start time of 11 they were able to install the product in the entire living room by 4 pm. When they left they cleaned up everything and put our furniture back in place, they also provided us with helpful tricks to maintain the flooring. OVERALL A GREAT JOB.....

The company was absolutely great!  They were very prompt in setting up appointments and coming to my home to show me flooring samples.  The selection was a bit limited but it was fine as it was less choices to get me confused.  The quality of their samples and flooring selection is amazing.  They scheduled the install in just a few days.  The install went very well.  They moved furniture, installed the flooring and cleaned up after themselves. Their pricing was far superior than other estimates I had received!  The work was very professional and wonderful.

We went to Empire for new carpet and hardwood flooring. The salesman came to our house and he was impressive - promising the moon and stars. He said they can install carpet and hardwood flooring - no problem. The day the installers arrived, they said hardwood couldn't be installed - we would have to go with linoleum because the floor wasn't even and they couldn't fix the problem. The installers were friendly and quick but once the project was completed, we had to call them back repeatedly. First, we had to call them back twice because they didn't reattach all the doors upstairs. Then we had to call them back twice to repair the linoleum. The linoleum is so cheap, even the slightest bump with furniture, and it rips. Then immediately the nails in the linoleum began to come up - this problem is still going on. We have cut ourselves repeatedly on the floor. The carpet is coming up in little pieces, and now the linoleum is coming loose and bubbling in various places.  We are going to have to redo the entire floors. Do not use Empire - it is a horrible product - installed poorly.

At first, thought the estimate was high, but then we shopped around and found two other companies who were equally high or higher. So, we went with Empire because of their reputation. The installers were nice, came late though. We were pretty satisfied with the install. There were a few spots that we saw a seam or it appeared to need another staple. We called a few times and got the installers back two weeks later to fix it. They came out quickly, fixed our areas of concern, and gave us a direct number to call if we had any other issues. Overall, they were professional, helpful, and did exactly what they said they would.

We dealt with a salesperson and the experience was good because they brought samples to my home and came to look at the area. The installers were a problem though. They installed the flooring fine, but they said they wouldn't do the baseboards. The salesman didn't help or interfere. They did give me a $250 discount, but it didn't solve my problem. Getting the baseboards done through another company was more money than the $250. I told them that I was dissatisfied, and I think their customer service was very poor. I will not use this company again.
