E LUCERO & CO

My broker was Barb Mills.  Near the end of my attempt to buy a house she simply stopped responding to voicemails or emails. There was no out-of-office message so it seemed like she was just ignoring me but after over a week I got to the receptionist and learned that Barb was ill.  Her replacement was Teresa Lucero, wife of the owner Eugene.  Teresa didn't return a single phone call or email.  Ever.  When, miraculously,  I did reach her she informed me that she wasn't familiar with my case and that I would need to speak to Barb, who was still out of the office.  I did finally get my house but the incompetence of these people very nearly lost it for me.  Someone else had to step in to secure the final document needed to close, otherwise I would be back at square one after 4 months of being under contract.  The whole thing was a stressful nightmare and I am still appalled by the lack of service.  I would never ever work with these people by choice, and I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy.
