Diamondback Drains

Joe did all the work for 1/4 of the price of another company's estimate. He did not try to add work that was not necessary, gave good advice on maintenance, and issues to watch out for. He's my Plumber now. As a single woman, I find him a reliable professional, and recommend him highly.

Joe arrived when he said on a Saturday cleaned out a tough root clog and got us back in service.

Joe was available on a Sunday(!), was at my house when he said he would be, snaked the problem line (that had caused water to back-up into a downstairs sink, and overtop onto the floor and into cabinets).He was efficient and neat, and cleaned up afterward.

They did a good job. He was less than a mile away from our condo, so it was really wonderful to find someone on Angie's List that is close by that does the work that you need to have done. He was great.

I've had the opportunity to use Joe previously and he did such a fantastic job in finding and repairing a leak I had in my basement that I didn't think twice about who to go to for my current plumbing jobs.  And just because his company's name is Diamondback Drains doesn't mean he just does drains....he does all plumbing jobs.  So, with the sale of my current house, the inspectors found a few plumbing issues that needed to be addressed, so I immediately called Joe.  He came out right away and replaced some "accordion-type" drain pipes under my bathroom sinks with solid PVC pipes.  I'm glad he did because one of the pipes was really clogged and the sink wasn't draining well.  At the same time, my kitchen sink drain pipe was too high and needed to be redone to be more efficient at draining the sinks and the garbage disposal.  He did a fantastic job, and I'm sure the home inspector would be impressed with his work.  He also replaced a bathtub drain stopper that was broken.  Lastly, because there were signs of leaking water on one of my main level ceilings, Joe was able to cut open an area of the ceiling to inspect for any current leaks.  I'm sure the leaking was from cracking grout in my upstairs shower (which I then had repaired).  At least Joe was able to confirm that there were no further leaks.  The best part about Joe and his service is that he is not only an expert plumber with reasonable prices, but he also is very personable and I really enjoyed chatting with him while he did his plumbing magic!!  We are moving to a new home that is being built and I know that I'll need to install a sprinkler system, and Joe said he could do the plumbing work needed to get the system outside to the sprinkler box.  I'm confident that he'll do a fantastic job in that as well.

It all went really well.  In fact Joe went, I felt, the extra mile for me in tracking down the small hose that goes from the water source for the toilet to the toilet tank - my toilet is several years old and the piece isn't something normally carried from regular suppliers, so he went to a speciality supplier and got the part and didn't charge more for that trip!  He was extremely efficient and all the work only took about 2.4 hours.  I was very impressed.  He explained to me what he was doing and why every step of the way.  In particular the flushing mechanism had to be completely replaced when I thought only one part needed to be, but he explained to me why & I saw what he was talking about.  I'd definitely have him back!

It went great.  I appreciate the way he responded so quickly and after hours to boot!  He handled the problem and answered all of my questions.
