I dropped off my car with a flat tire and Sherman gave me a long list of alleged things wrong with the car, quoting over $3200 in repairs. Something didn't sound right, so I said no thanks to everything, including the tire repair. Then he refused to give my car back unless I paid his ransom of $120. This is illegal in Colorado per multiple statues! I never authorized any repairs or any diagnostic fees. In the next few days, I took my car to two other repair shops to check on Sherman's list of alleged issues and they BOTH told me nothing was wrong with the van except the tire. I recommend people stay away from this shop. They committed both fraud and extortion, with multiple violations of the Colorado Motor Vehicle Repair Act and the Consumer Protection Act.
