window cleaning
+ -1 moreHe did an excellent job and was very professional in his manner and cleaning abilities. He even cleaned off every individual section of the intricate "curly cue" pattern details of our black Security Doors (which are, quite frankly, a pain to keep clean), without extra charge. He asked if we wanted our window screens cleaned (rather than just "hosed off") and said it would be an extra $1.00 per screen, which we had him do, as I thought that was reasonable, especially to have them actually cleaned with detergent solution, so they start the winter really clean. Everything sparkled, without a streak anywhere and he also was very friendly and interesting to talk to as he was working. He took his shoes off when coming into the house. We were VERY impressed with Doug's services and will hire him again, even to pay regular charges. We gave him a nice tip, for a job well done.
Description of Work: We hired Doug's window cleaning company (Daydreaming Window Cleaning) when we heard him advertise on a radio show. Individuals from small businesses are often encouraged to call into the show with "Screaming Deals" to get free advertising on the show. We heard Doug call in with an offer for his company (which was a 1/2 price on all windows cleaned offer), and since we needed our windows cleaned anyway, we decided to take a chance on him. His regular prices are $4.00 per pane side cleaned, but the "deal" for us was the 1/2 price one, making it $2.00 per pane (meaning an individual "side" of a window). He scheduled us in for a date in November, but called us 2 weeks earlier than that, saying he'd finished another job in our neighborhood early, and he could work in our job, but only if it was convenient for us. The weather was beautiful that day, and it worked with our schedule, so we had him come that day, which actually was a Sunday afternoon. We figured if he was willing to work on a Sunday, that was fine with us.
