The sales person was so thorough I felt comfortable signing a contract for expensive work that I was convinced I needed. The actual services were superficial and the technician damaged my new roof, requiring the roofing company to repair. Each person at this company who contacted me when I complained insisted that the problems I encountered did not reflect this company's standards. And unless I allowed them to repair the roof (rather than the roofing company with whom I have the warranty) that the cost would come out of their employee's paycheck. When I complained about that too, I was told (again) that the problems I encountered did not reflect this company's standards and I was providing a teachable moment for them. It was an expensive teachable moment for me, too. I was taken to the cleaners. I would not recommend this company.

Very well. He charged us only for the basket (see photo) we hope will be the permanent solution to any future problems of this sort.

Critter Control was great! The tech called when he was on his way, and was very professional and punctual. They were able to quickly remove the carcasses and disinfect our window wells.

Chris was very knowledgeable about what was needed to seal up the entry points, and we talked about the repairs in detail. He was very professional. After having a bad experience with another company Critter Control came to the rescue!

The technician was very thorough during the appointment and did a great inspection to find out where they were coming from. The area was very tricky to get to and he was able to get the job done. Scheduling went very well and I have not had any critters since then.

He found evidence of snakes and then said he would have to come back for additional charge to lay glue traps. he should have brought the traps with him, since the call had been for a snake problem (poor professionalism). He also quote a very high price to install a mesh screening to prevent entry in the future. Other providers quoted 30-50% less for the same service

Very professional and explained everything he found and didn't find (no more mice!). The only concern with the service was that I paid him to seal two small exterior spots on my home. He indicated he would be back in the "next couple of days" to get that done. 10 days later I had to call in and they pulled my paperwork and confirmed that it was overlooked and not scheduled. After I called they were responsive and had someone out within 48 hours to take care of it.

I have used Critter Control in the past for a removing bats form my attic and they were great. This was a much smaller job but they were just as great. Two guys came during the time window promised. They asked good questions to understand the issue and were very conscientious about explaining exactly what they were going to do. They cleaned out the hole, cut a piece of metal flashing to insert so the birds can't peck back through, and sealed the hole. They even found bits of plaster that had fallen and put them back up on the wall. They were done in a very short time. Polite, knowledgable about wildlife, and conscientous about their work. Thanks!

They were able to remove a skunk for me without having too much of the smell overwhelm me.

First, I had them out May of 2010 for a raccoon that was getting into my attic. That experience was great; he went inside the crawlspace to see exactly where the raccoon was getting in, set up the trap on the roof, and caught the raccoon. The raccoon broke out of the trap before the technician got there, but he was able to re-set the trap a few times. The raccoon never came back. At that point, he closed up the spot where the raccoon was getting in. The total charge of the trapping and closing up the trap was $499.98. I thought that was steep, but fair. I called them again this year because I heard squirrels in my roof. The response time was good and they arrived on time. At that point I no longer heard the squirrels on the roof (we don’t have a fence). The technician climbed up on the roof and found out that the squirrels were getting in through the roof vents (4 of them). He then quoted me a price of $132 per vent to have them capped. I thought that was steep, but I agreed. He then told me to trap the squirrels, it would be an extra $400. He put the traps outside in the backyard (not on the roof- where the squirrels were entered). I assumed that he would cap off the roof vents because there were no squirrels in my attic when he came out, according to him, but he set the traps in my backyard anyway. In my opinion, he was just trying to jack up the fee. I told him that neighbors have traps set out in their backyard, but that wasn’t fixing their problem. The bill came out to $1000 and didn’t make sense to me; less work was done on this visit and I was charged triple than the first visit. I called them last night to cancel my order as I feel like I was ripped off.

They came out and confirmed my suspicion. They laid out a couple of traps and followed up. They caught two skunks around our front porch. They also caught a squirrel and a cat.

Excellent. Brooke was our representative. She thoroughly inspected the whole house (inside and out) and baited as required to deter any critters. She also proposed a list of suggestions to avoid future issues like covering vents, screening off holes, etc. It was good advice and the job was completed well.

Critter Control responded within the day to our initial phone call and had someone out within a few days. They inspected the entire house for bat entrances and exits and inspected the attic. We received a quote after the inspection. Once we decided to go with the company they had someone available within the week. During the first trip they sealed up all the entrances and exits for the bats as well as install a bat door. They returned five days later to remove the bat door, clean the attic space that had been destroyed by the bats, spray for insects, spray new insulation and reseal all entrances and exits.

Not much to tell. They did a much better job than the previous company who it turns out did a shoddy job of blocking entry in the porch eaves. Squirrels and a raccoon were able to pry away the wire they put up and get back into the attic area. However, Critter Control is very expensive: $399 for the service call and $129 each to seal the vents and eaves. That is the reason for my overall rating of "B".

WHEN WE PHONED THE COMPANY THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY AND CAME OUT CAUGHT THE SQUIRREL AND RELEASED HIM OUT IN HIS HABITAT. THEY CLOSED UP THE ENTRANCE TO THE ATTIC AND WE WERE VERY SATISFIED.
