They are punctual and show up on time.  They do as advertised; they cleaned my house.  The cleaning inside the house was great.

They do a decent job and the ladies who have come ( different every time since I am not a regularly scheduled client) have all been really nice. I usually find a few things after the fact that I wish had been done a little better, but it isn't major and maybe just me being nitpicky. I'm still shopping around a bit to see if there is a service/price I like better, but I would use them again.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal to get started with Cottage Care.  I had just been fired by my cleaning lady (apparently i'm too picky!), and was in the market for a new cleaning service, so this seemed worth trying.  I waited a few months before writing this review because, in my experience, all cleaners start out well, then things start to go downhill and get sloppy.  Not so with CC!  The first thing i liked about CC was that they send an individual cleaner.  Our house is too small for a big group of folks cleaning.  We have two old and quiet dogs, and they get anxious when 4 strangers descend on the house with vacuum cleaners and chemical sprays.  By just having one cleaner come, the dogs can rotate around the house and avoid her (unless she's near the treat jar, then they come running!).  The next thing i liked about CC is how thorough their cleaners are.  I've tried three CC cleaners now (not my fault!  one moved away, one was on vacation, one was a sub), and they were all consistently very good.  CC must have a good training program, because all of the cleaners clean alike!  CC uses two vacuum cleaners - a big upright for the main parts of the floor, and a small hand-held to get all the corners and baseboards.  This really makes a difference in collecting the dog hair.  CC doesn't use chemicals - my house smells fresh and clean, but it doesn't smell like bleach or ammonia.  They are also very careful about picking up all the tchotchkes and cleaning under everything.  If you want a quick cleaner to be done in 2 hrs, CC is not your cleaner.  However, if you want your house cleaned very thoroughly, and yet quietly and peacefully, CC is for you!

I spend $120 every two weeks. I will use them again in the future.
