Roof repair went very well from start to finish. The Contractor was very professional and explained everything that needed to be repaired. The Technician who did the work was very conscientious, thorough and efficient. I highly recommend Core Contractors.

We had a leak due to the installation of our skylights. Core Contractors worked on our behalf with the skylight installers to highlight the installation problems, provided proof to ensure that we received warranty repairs, and replaced the surrounding roof to ensure that there would be no further issues.

An amazing experience, After hiring three other roofing companies and experiencing the same issues we were running out of answers. CORE was recommended to us by a friend and all I can say is WOW, I wish we would have contacted Tomas and Chris in the first place. Really well. Chris White with Core contacted me to let me know that he was actually going to be early for our initial evaluation. I took that as a great first sign! A contractor that's on-time, wahoo! I had planned on being there at our scheduled time, so I couldn't make it early. I did give him the go ahead to do a roof inspection while I was on the way, and he was happy to oblige. Once I got home, he'd had a chance to check out the roof, take pictures, and have a battle plan for helping me out. Chris identified numerous things that could be repaired. Although I'm not very technical with contractor terms, he was able to explain it to me in a way that I could understand it. Shortly after the initial inspection, we received an email, complete with pictures and descriptions on the findings, as well as an estimate to take care of the items. I asked which of the items seemed to be more pressing. Core identified 3 things that needed our immediate attention, and the other 2 were more aesthetic, thus could be done later. This set my mind at ease, and brought the estimate down considerably. We scheduled for Chris to come back out for the repairs. He needed to re-schedule because of rain and snow. I didn't mind, because he stated the repairs could be made without me being there. Fantastic because I was still out of town! Within a day or so of the repairs, we received an invoice for the repairs. There was a slight discrepancy in the amount of the estimate, and the amount of the invoice I received. The finalized invoice was the price for ALL 5 of the repair items to be done, not the 3 we opted for. A quick courteous call to Core, and Tomas had us all fixed up with the corrected invoice to reflect the proper amount. Now the flashing on the penetration pipes is under the shingles, as it should be. They removed our box vents, and installed a turbine vent "whirly bird" as I call them. And, they even painted the whirly bird to match our other roofing items. Looks great! And my attic seems to be "breathing" again, as the new whirly bird is spinning. Happy customer here. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

They were very quick with the work and took care of anything that I asked them to. They are very responsive and helpful from the account rep who came out to meet with the insurance adjuster and set up the work to the foreman overseeing the work. Their billing department did a great job working with my insurance company and mortgage company to take care of paying for all the work. I was very please with everything from beginning to end and would recommend them to anyone who is need of their services.

Core installed a state of the art EPDM roof that fixed all of the problems with our old roof. Core worked with our neighbors to insure they understood the impacts of the install process... there were no issues. The retail business was not impacted. The new roof was installed on time, on budget and with no issues. The 20 year materials & workmanship warranty also gives me piece of mind for such a large investment. The roof is working great and I look forward Core returning in the summer to make some modifications when our new roof top HVAC system is installed.

Every time their work has been exceptional, including dealing with the insurance companies and caring about their customers. I'm a realtor and have worked with Core over several years. They are the only roofing company in Denver/metro area to receive the Torch Award from the BBB. They are outstanding, ethical, quick to respond and care about their customers a great deal. They work well with insurance companies, which other roofing companies seem to miss and can hurt the customer. Core has been around a long time and understands that this can be an expensive item for home sellers. They care and always do the right thing; they are exceptional. I feel fortunate to have found them!

I was very happy with CoreContractors. They were extremely professional and did excellent work. My neighbors also had to have a new roof, and the difference in the 2 companies was astounding. Core's workmanship, the care for my yard, the cleanup and the professionalism of the workers was incredible far above the company my neighbors used.
As often happens there were a couple of little things that needed attention, and they were right here to make them right even though they had already been paid!
I would certainly recommend CoreContractors and would use them in the future.

Core Contractors were very courteous and professional in all of their interaction and constantly kept me in the loop. I met a number of Core representatives through out the process as each focused on a specific function and segment of the total repair. Core worked very diligently and acted as my advocate in all interactions with the insurance company and strenuously represented my case with a very positive outcome. To my pleasant surprise, Core also brought in subject matter experts for each specific area of repair and I was able to discuss and understand everything that that was going to happen as well as how and why it being done. The overall result was a very professional job and a great experience. Any issue or question that I had were quickly addressed. I would recommend them. They came right away. They spent a lot of time with us helping me pick out the color of the roof and all that. They did a really nice job. They cleaned up after themselves before they left. They did the job very quickly. They worked very closely with our insurance and that was extremely helpful. They offered us a lot of upgrades for free. They came out several times, which was really good.

Replacing a damaged roof can be a complicated affair in which the physical labor is actually one of the least-difficult tasks. Working through insurance evaluations, understanding who pays who, selecting materials and basically managing the process takes some time and effort. Can't say enough about the job Core Contractors performed here, particularly as it relates to patient explanation, taking on the burden for administrative tasks (such as working directly with an insurer) and especially, going way beyond the norm in terms of ongoing communication and regular updating. I received almost daily calls from a representative as the project moved toward completion. The physical work was outstanding, the clean-up thorough and the interaction with staff always a joy. Plus, our main guy there befriended our new labrador puppy: no mean feat. Great team, surpassed every expectation.

We had a significant amount of hail damage and went with Core to help us with all the work. Not only is their office staff extremely helpful in navigating the paperwork and communication with the insurance company, their managers that coordinated and oversaw the work were great to work with and incredibly responsive. Jerry Beeman was our project manager and I cannot say enough good things about him. From the new garage door to the paint to the fence repairs - everything went smoothly and Jerry went above and beyond to make sure it was a seamless process for us.

Very good work, but what really made Core stand out was how easy it was to deal with them. On time, always a prompt response to inquiries & very clear about costs, paperwork, etc. We had a very large project; basically all our outdoor property, and we are very pleased with the work on all fronts.

my roof was in dire need of repair. i thought i could get away with waiting until summer time. but mother nature let me know otherwise. talk about service. my roof started leaking even worse. now a hole in my roof i could see daylight from my living room. I called core contracting. They came out on new years day with in a couple of hours to isolate my situation. then the very next day the crew was here and started to work away. I was very impressed from start to finish. they even cleaned up and gave dog treats to my dog. thank you so much core for coming through. fast clean and friendly service.

The painting was amateurish and I had to keep double checking their work. The roofers placed the vent cap on my roof despite they weren't qualified to do so as they aren't a licensed heating contractor. They put the vent cap all the way down on the pipe too tightly and carbon monoxide backed up into my house which nearly killed us. I do have a leak in the back of my home because of the gutters.
Would not recommend using this provider. Stay aware. The contractors were extremely unprofessional and the gutters and roofing people left screws and nails all over my house.

"This is a painful review to read. We sincerely appreciate the response and feedback from this homeowner. This project was completed in 2012, and we have made many changes to insure that our homeowners do not have the frustrations or issues experienced in this situation. As a general contractor, we are responsible for the quality of our subs and take responsibility for the final work product. If an issue arises, we cannot change the past, but do pride ourselves on responding immediately to address concerns. In this situation, as in other occasional circumstances where things do not go perfectly, we are very proud of our immediate and direct response to the homeowner to correct the situation. When the cap issue was raised, a team was out immediately to inspect the entire system. We completed multiple walk-throughs with the homeowner to ensure the work was completed satisfactorily. We worked diligently with the homeowner’s mortgage company until inspection was complete. With regard to the gutters, we were unaware that there was an outstanding issue. Our production manager completed a water test with the homeowner in February 2013 before project close out. Now that we are aware of an issue we will follow up to address the concern."

They showed up on time for the initial review, gave me a competitive quote and they showed up on time as promised, once I booked the job with them. They did a great job on the insulation and even gave me the extra they brought with them, like 15R addtitional insulation in my attic. They took care of everything, did good work, and completed the Xcel rebate form for me. Very professional and thorough.
I did not need any roofing done but since then, I've referred them to many of my friends who were having issues on roofing with their insurance company. They made me look so good because they handled it very well. Each of my friends was able to get much more from the insurance coverage then they were previously; 1 friend went from zero covered to approx. $15,000 and he only paid $1,000 deductible, another friend was being denied totally by the insurance and Core got a structural engineer involved and ended up with $46,000 from the insurance company toward his job! Another friend was getting $3,000 after 3 insurance reviews and I told him, he had to get Core to meet with the insurance - he finally did and got an extra 10k to $13,000 from his insurance. These guys rock and have done so much for my friends, I won't recommend anyone else.

We had a lot of work done by Core to fix the house after last summer's hailstorm. The 2 roof inspectors did a thorough job in their inspection. All of the work done was well-done and I am very satisfied with the workmanship.
Core replaced the roof, replaced some windows and a sliding door, got the house painted and the fence re-stained. They did a good job working with the insurance company to make sure everything was covered that should be, and offering to help me get the insurance money disbursed to me from my bank. We were able to upgrade our sliding glass door, but were pretty much on our own to figure out what we could pick from and what our options were.
The only drawbacks during the process:
- The whole process took MONTHS to get complete. We went long periods of time never hearing from anybody about the status of the current repair. We had to chase down various contacts there to find out the status of the repairs on numerous occasions. Once each project was underway, the work was completed quickly.
- I dealt with nearly a dozen different people from Core over the 6 months, all from different parts of the company. There was a lot of overlap of responsibility as each new person I was dealing with was 'taking over' for the last person I dealt with. Each employee was friendly and usually very helpful, but it was frustrating at times to have to deal with so many different people for some of the same areas of work.
- I feel we were overcharged for the 'additional labor' for the sliding door replacement (such labor would have occurred whether or not we upgraded the door). However, Core did work hard to make sure insurance paid for everything they should have.
Overall, we are pleased with the work and would recommend Core to anyone.
