Colorado Estate Sales

Debbe and her group did an excellent job with the estate sale.  I could tell from the first time I met her that she really cared and wanted to do a really good job to sell as much as she could and there was a lot of stuff to sell.  It is very hard and emotional cleaning out a home that has been in my family for almost 40 years and items my parents accumulated over the past 60 plus years.  Debbe did such an excellent job and was very respectful of all items and the home.  She is a very nice and extremely professional.  She displays the items beautifully.  You can tell she knows what she is doing.  She also did an excellent job marketing.  If I ever need to do another estate sale I wouldn't hesitate to call her again.  I will also visit sales she conducts in the future.

Colorado Estate Sales has an organized and energetic crew who are very
prompt and knowledgeable in their work.  We had a mixed estate of
antiques and yard sale items and the crew priced and even cleaned the
merchandise.    They tell you up front that the costs are either 2K
minimum or 35% , from there we scheduled the sale together and they were
there around 3-4 days in advance of the sale, and then of course the
actual 3 days of the sale.  They do have a good  following as I drove by
the morning of and saw people in line.  The results of the sale was a
very pleasant surprise.  I felt they have a very good knowledge of
pricing the items and getting the value of what we had.  All of the
furniture and personal items were displayed so well that it made us feel
very comfortable about selling our family's items.  If our home was for
sale, I believe their excellent presentation skills would have probably
have helped to sell the home.

I met with Donna and she evaluated the contents of my mother in law's home. She determined that there was sufficient value in the items to meet the company's minimum ($2000 minimum or 35% of the total). She told me what her crew (including her sister and 3 other employees) would do over the course of the week to sort and display the items in such a way to maximize our profit. She would also place information about the sale on various websites including Colorado Estate Sale's site. (There were lovely photos of the items for sale posted on their site so prospective buyers could view them.) She then told me what their next available opening was. (I had two other agencies give me bids. Both seemed fine, but would have meant waiting longer to conduct the sale.)
After conferring with my husband (who is the official Rep for the estate), we chose to go ahead with Colorado Estate Sales. They were prompt in meeting me on the first day, and worked quickly to get items sorted and displayed. We met with Donna again after the sale where we were promptly paid and shown what was not sold. My husband and I were very pleased with the number of items that were sold. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

The Colorado Estate Sales crew arrived on time each day, did the work they advertised and left, making sure the areas were organized and clean. They carried out what they said they would do, and we were all satisfied with the results. The effort was a cooperative one. I, as the homeowner, was involved throughout in the decision making, but the real work was in the hands of the hard workers from Colorado Estate Sales. They kept me informed about the progress of the sale and summarized the results at the end of each day. For someone who was feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of having an estate sale, I can honestly say that they simplified the process, performed as promised, and eased the anxieties of this homeowner with a hurried sale, tight timeline and a houseful of items to sell. Well done!
