Dry-out nearly complete. Popcorn ceiling tested for asbestos and mitigation being scheduled. David Mahoney and his team have been very professional, responsive and great communicators. They are working directly with the insurance company, so we have no handle on cost.

We contacted this company get a competitive bid for cleanup for minor smoke damage. They were very honest and up front on the costs. Had some minor issues getting call backs due to their busy schedules. Would definitely hire them again!

CCS was very professional, courteous and friendly from estimate to remediation (mold removal) to repar, cleanup and follow through. Basement area repaired looks better than new. Special kudos to David Houghton for his work and follow-up as the project's field supervisor.

Everything went fine. I'm waiting on a quote from them to see how much it would take for them to eliminate the mold. The tech was the president of the company. He showed up 45 minutes early - very punctual! The entire appointment took about 45 minutes. He was very thorough, and gave me tips on how to save money in the future.

Everything turned out well. There was no mold - just from steam. He was prompt to our appointment, and the whole appointment took less than an hour.

They came out and were here for less than an hour. They said they couldn't actually test for the mold in the air or carpet, just look for the mold, which I've already done. They didn't see any mold. They completed a ten step check and provided a detailed report and recommended an industrial hygenist to further diagnose our room odors. Since it wasn't exactly what we were needing or desired, the owner called us personnally and worked with us to find a common resulution. Jim is invested in his business and cares deeply about his relationship with his customers. I strongly recommend Jim for any repairs and water damage clean-up work. He wants to be on your team!

This was a sudden event that happened. Jim, went above and beyond. His crew and him are very professional, did what they said they were going to do, did it in a timely manner, and cleaned up the area better than it was when they started. My brother suggested I call Colorado Cleanup Services (CCS). They had a crew out promptly to begin extracting the black water and bag up damaged contents. Their lead guy explained my options with respect to the damaged contents. They took a drywall sample to have tested for lead before removing the damaged drywall. By the time they left on the initial call, drying equipment was operating, the foul smell was already diminishing, and they had hauled away damaged carpet, pad and contents. A few days later, CCS's project manager returned to meet with the insurance adjuster and make sure they were on the same page. Once they were in agreement, CCS contacted me to schedule their crew to start repairs. CCS contacted the adjuster immediately when it became apparent that he had underestimated the value of my existing carpet, and negotiated the supplemental to the original claim amount. CCS then put me in touch with a great flooring guy, and had already given him all of the information he needed to assist me with carpet selection. After the carpet was installed, the doors needed to be "shaved" because the new carpet was higher than the old, and the doors scraped across the carpet. As this couldn't have been known in advance, CCS contacted the adjuster regarding another supplemental. The adjuster agreed, but CCS told me that they would have taken care of the doors, at no additional expense to me, whether the adjuster agreed to pay for it or not. The critical thing to note in this story is how much work I DID NOT have to put into this. Literally, all I had to do was select carpet and paint color. CCS took care of everything else. Looking back on it, I can hardly believe it was so painless, but it was!
