Color by Design is a full-service, owner-operated painting company. We provide a more personal and quality painting service to residential and commercial clients. We offer a broad range of painting services, including interior, exterior, custom homes and specialty finishes. We can satisfy all of your painting needs. We pride ourselves on our repeat client base, referrals and outstanding record of quality workmanship. Our goal is to always take care of the customer. From color or finish selection to project completion, we work with each client to ensure that the job is done within the scheduled time frame and budget. Color by Design also has extensive knowledge in the application of all finishes, including faux, stain, varnish, lacquer and oil-based paint.

I had my entire condo repainted and Scott and his team did an excellent job! They painted all the walls, the trim, all of my doors and I was extremely satisfied. It looks beautiful and he offered me a very fair price and stuck to the schedule he promised me. Thank you, Scott!

Scott Wald and his crew (Mark and R.J) painted both the exterior and the interior of our home. They were at our home for several days and were a pleasure to have around. They were very reliable and personable, and also reasonably priced. Scott was very flexible and patient with my continued additions to the work we initially requested. He was also very accommodating whenever I pointed out areas which needed another coat or where a spot had been missed, and was quick to remedy whatever I thought needed extra attention. We would definitely hire them again.

I purchased a home and only had 2 weeks to paint the entire house before moving in. I called Color by Design and was relieved that they could start almost immediately. On one hand I am happy that I paid the money to get the rooms painted because it was impossible for us to get it done, and I know they look better with Scott's work. He was flexible and a fun collaborator with color and design. On the other, I was disappointed with the lack of clean up and regard for our home. Paint splatters on personal possessions, open paint cans left on my counter, lack of using a tarp to protect surfaces, and a nice-sized paint splatter on my bedroom floor. Scott's pricing was competitive, so the good outweighs the frustration.

Scott was really wonderful. We are in a huge bind since our contractor walked on the job a week ago, and he is literally the only professional out of probably 20 we've contacted who has been willing or able to help us out. Despite being busy Scott made himself available on last-minute notice to paint our kitchen/dining room as well as a few medicine cabinets. He communicated well, was professional, efficient, did a great job, and charged a fair price. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using again.

Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends. They gave me an individual quote for each room in my home so I could decide which rooms to have them paint and which rooms I would paint myself! Whilst doing the job I realized I was not superwoman and asked if they could paint everything for me, this was no problem to them. Scott is a really nice quy very trustworthy, gave him a key to my new home so I did not have to be there every day. I will be calling them again for other work I know needs doing!
