The project took a very long time to finish. They had supply issues and had problems with communication for some reason. Think it was aberrant to this job and a fluke. very satisfied with the job and they were nice to have around.

David and his crew built us a beautiful deck! Ours was a small deck, but that didn't stop this team from building it like it was a huge money-making job! They were very professional, kind and honest as well. David was always in touch with us when he needed to pick up more supplies and it would make him a little late. He didn't like to be late. A great asset in any contractor. He never made us wonder if he would show up or not do great work! We were very impressed with the awesome deck we now have to enjoy. We would recommend David and The Other Side Lawn and Landscape to anyone who wants quality work and a professional team! They also quote a great price. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you, David, you have made us very happy!

David and his crew are a delight to work with. Daily check-ins made being away a non-event, the site was neat and tidy at the end of every day, and workmanship is impeccable. I would recommend The Other Side to anyone looking for a deck and I even have another job for them next spring!

Update 6/14/18- David broke contract without warning almost 2 weeks ago after he delayed the project for a month. He blames me for holding him to his timeline he committed to and has lied about all events of this project. I still have not received a check for the deposit he took on work that was not completed or even started. The amount he said he was refunding wasn't even the entire deposit. It's been 8 business days since I was told it was in the mail. It's hard to trust anything since so many promises, including the contract with warranty has been broken. The large deck that was done but not completed still has with major issues and he is refusing to honor the contract that he guaranteed his work on. We have been told by several professional contractors with great ratings that our deck that was built by David is and built very poorly and likely will fail in a short amount of time. He has refused to go to mediation to get this straighten out. Very sad and upset I paid him as a favor to him before the job was complete. He asked to please give him the money and "promised to come back and fix everything until it is perfect". I feel I was conned. I regret everything about working with David and his company as I'm out close to $40,000 with a deck that is ˜likely to completely fail in 5-10 years from other credible decking contractors. I thought I was investing in a 25 year deck to enjoy but now I am living a nightmare because of David, his broken promises, his lies, and getting suckered into believing he was going to 'make it right'. I was trying to reach David to fix our main deck which he build and has major issues due to his workmanship which are covered by his ˜warranty" in our contract and build the second deck, which he took a deposit to do, and he won't return calls, emails, or texts. Very poor quality deck with poor communication. The deck was reinspected by the county and has failed to meet state building code.

Dave’s was awesome. Very easy to work with. His work is professional and the deck turned out gorgeous!!! Would definitely hire him again!!

Dave should get a 10 star rating, ours was a small project with time constraints, we were prepping to sell our house and were having alot of issues personally (medical) Dave was the only contractor that did what he said he would do and he went above and beyond - We would recommend him to anyone needing a reliable honest hard working contractor. 10 stars for sure

David was so easy to work with and our new deck/porch looks fantastic! We're already planning our next landscape project with him and all my friends and neighbors are asking for his info. I'm not sure I want to share!

David was very prompt coming out and giving a written estimate. We had three small yards that needed to have a vinyl fence replaced with a wood fence. There were many posts that needed to be replaced, and a lot of concrete and small spots to work around. He took the picture of the fence we wanted, and executed it to perfection. The work took longer than he projected, but only because he did not rush getting the old posts out. He took the extra time to make sure it was right. Outstanding job.

David always alerted us when he arrived and was leaving. He and his crew were polite. When the job was completed they cleaned up our yard thoroughly. They did a wonderful job! Very pleased with their work.

David and Justin were incredible. We made a mistake with how the pickets were facing and they fixed the problem without issue. They must have done good work because soon David was giving estimates to all our neighbors. And we hired him to build an additional fence for a dog run. Very happy with everything

TOS replaced a 40 year old deck with composite. Turned out great! Hope to have them come back and take care of another project.

This guy came from Indiana 5 years ago and brought a great work ethic with him. He was on the low end of the market but, he used top quality full size ceader wood for my fence. It should last 30 years. When I need more hard scape added I will be calling him.

My experience with David was great. He is very easy to work with, is hard working, did exactly what he said he'd do, performed quality work and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend The Other Side Lawn and Landscape.
