They were terrific.  They were really, really good.  There was a mistake made with the insert between carpets and all I had to do was call and tell them about it, they came out and fixed it immediately.  They are very good to deal with.  They were truly, truly first class.  I think we paid a little bit more but it was worth it.  We live in a retired community and the head of the department here, recommended them for the quality of their products, so then we called Carpet One and talked to a lady who was instrumental in providing all our needs.

Aside from being angry that my carpet was wet at all, the experience with Carpet One went very well. I stopped by their offices and talked to a very knowledgeable sales person, who informed me that they do a lot of insurance work and have done this many times. She told me what my options were and when we settled upon a course of action, she gave me the quote and got the installer tentatively lined up. I called the next day to tell them exactly how much padding was needed based on my measurements, and I also told them it had dried out enough over-night, that we could do it that same day. The installer called me and I met him at my house around 2:00 pm. I showed him where the padding had been removed and he got to work. Everything was completed in about an hour. He also gave me some tips on what to do if it ever happens again, and some general knowledge around carpet care, etc. The contact at the office called me the next day, to finalize the billing and I paid by credit over the phone.
