Brick Specialists are not the cheapest--just the best. We interviewed and took quotes from four bidders, and we chose James and his team from Brick Specialists because of their expertise, decades of experience, work ethic, reliability, and excellence in the finished product. James, the owner, carefully inspected our 1890 brick Victorian, identifying areas that I realized that other vendors overlooked. He provided a complete solution, without trying to upsell me. Instead, he focused on structural integrity, impermeability to water, and aesthetics. He told me that his company has many teams and does about a dozen projects per month, and right then, he said that our home would take two men four days of work, and he broke the project down into three options and immediately verbally quoted the price for everything. The next day, he sent me the written copy of the quote. He told me that his crew would show up every day at 7am, and that they would not be pulled off my job to do other

Very reliable and knowledgeable company. This company completed numerous tuck pointing repairs to foundation walls. They did exactly what they said they would when they said they would. Very professional. Workers were respectful and thoughtful making sure not to damage flowerbeds and minimize dust and noise. Could not be happier with this company and strongly recommend them based on my experience.

I contacted Brick Specialists in 2016 to give me an estimate on Tuck Point for my brick home in Park Hill. This house was built back in 1925. I needed someone that had the expertise to match the original tuck-pointing on my home. James came out to my home in 2016, gave me an estimate that would match the original tuck point. I needed to have the front half of the house done first then the second half of the house done at a later date. They did an excellent job so I hired them again to tuck point my garage. This will happen in the fall of this year. I would recommend them for any job, small or large. SA.

This team did an outstanding job of tuck pointing portions of our 1908 house. James came out to give us an estimate on tuck pointing "trouble" areas. We spent 45 minutes going over everything they planned to do. He was very thorough in his evaluation, and detailed all of it in writing. They were available a couple weeks later to start and at a price point much lower than others. On the first day James came out with his crew. We confirmed the work to be done, and away they went. These guys were no joke. This day we had wind gusts up to 60mph in Denver. They didn't skip a beat, even after the wind had to have been almost painful to endure. They worked every bit of an 11 hour day, and came right back the next day. Great crew, and I can't say enough good things about them. They even went above what they agreed to do and basically rebuilt one of the columns on our porch, since it had shifted so much. I would highly recommend them for at least their tuck pointing and professionalism. I experienced both and they were top notch. Thanks again guys!

James and the Brick Specialists team are amazing. The brick walls and chimney of my (neglected) 1887-built Victorian home needed some serious TLC. Initially, we sought repairs to a collapsing living room wall. James undertook a complete survey of the property, providing us with thorough information about what else needed (more urgent) attention to prevent serious foundation problems, among other issues. He took time to describe exactly what kinds of work would be performed where based on the current condition of my brick (entrance to home, living room, bathroom, basement and chimney). He made himself available for questions at all hours and to re-explain the pending work. Over two, long (12+ hour) days, his crew worked diligently, completing extra project elements beyond his original estimate and scope of work at no extra charge. The results are extraordinary: bricks and masonry that match everything already on site...very inspiring! It's clear that James and his associates have a real passion for their work. Additionally, brick restoration is a messy job and his team cleaned up thoroughly.

I am thrilled with the great brick repair completed on my home in the Berkeley neighborhood by Denver Brick Specialists. James was prompt in meeting me for an estimate and explaining all the details of the project. The repair team arrived as scheduled and brought the front porch of a house built in 1900 back to life. The mortar is matched extremely well. They were great and managed to squeeze my indoor job in during a snow storm when they couldn't work outside. The guys that came to do the job were wonderful & did a fantastic job of cleaning up when they were done. My basement has never been cleaner.

James came out and gave me an estimate on the spot for a small chimney tuck pointing job on my house. The price was a bit on the high side because of a minimum job fee they had but came out the next day and did the work as promised. Very happy with the work.

I worked with Bill, the father of James, the owner of Brick Specialists. Bill was friendly and caring, but most of the work was done by his crew and he was typically out hunting for new work. The work was a little sloppy and very pricey but generally pretty good. It's a real niche specialty, and good luck finding anyone else who knows what they're doing.

CAVEAT: We're only partially through our project. Based on the work so far, however, we've been very impressed with Brick Specialists. The crew has so far done a great job with our foundation stones; and it's reassuring to know that Bill, the elder Mr. P, comes by to work together with his crew and make sure everything is done properly. In addition, we were amazed when Bill (after letting us know) had his men bring the scaffolding equipment the afternoon prior (Sun.) to beginning work on the chimney repair Monday. They could immediately set to work Mon. and take advantage of the good weather. The chimney also looks great (and safe) now.
