Bret Briggs Carpenter/Handyman

Bret did a fantastic job realigning all the doors/trim in my basement which had shifted over the past 20 years. He also lowered the baseboard all around my basement as well. He worked tirelessly and quickly. It really is nice that all the doors in the basement close effortlessly and it looks like it did when brand new. He also installed a new lazy-susan shelving which had broken. In my opinion, Bret is a craftsmen's craftsman. All his work has been outstanding, priced below market value, and he is honest and trustworthy. Just the type of person you want to know and have his number handy for all projects.

It went perfectly other than me ordering too much material. Bret has a fairly high hourly charge compared to many carpenters, but he works very quickly and his work is exceptionally high quality.

It was wonderful, he was on time, he works the whole time without taking breaks, he was professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anybody. He was very personable and easy to talk to and listen to you and he understand everything.

More than I could have expected

Wow! I was extremely impressed with the quality and speed of Bret's work. He far exceeded my expectations. He also made suggestions which made things look better than the ideas I had. He completed the complex bathroom door trim and both sides of the bar knee wall in one day and came back the next day and made 6 new doors for kitchen cabinets, to compliment the rest of the "store bought" cabinets. He also built a brand new cabinet for over the kitchen sink, and still had time to install overhead cabinet trim, and toe kicks. Bret worked with me and we agreed that I would purchase and pick up the wood and that would save his time to do the finish carpentry work. After he was done with the work I applied the finishing coats of stain and sealer on all of the cabinets and trim work. One of the best contractors I've ever worked with.

Bret came to our newly built home and custom made and installed window sills and aprons for all of our interior windows. Bret was extremely fast in getting back to me after I contacted him, showed up right on time and did an exceptional job on our window trim. He is a very pleasant and professional person to have in your home and I would highly recommend his carpentry services. His is fast and his prices are fair, I would hire him again in a heart beat.
