The sales team at Brekhus is very responsive and easy to work with. They worked with us on some hiccups on our end and were always helpful and available. The crew members who came to template and install were punctual, communicative, and professional. Installation went smoothly and the countertops are beautiful. Brekhus stood out from other countertop places we inquired with due to their prompt and professional customer service and they beat competitors on price too. I'm glad we chose Brekhus.

My wife and I were looking to replace our old counter tops with high-end quartzite and the first challenge we faced was finding an excellent fabricator. After visiting the stone collection here in Denver, which is arguably one of the very top distributors in the country, they gave us a list of trusted subcontractors with the message cheaper is not always the best route when it comes to fabrication and from personal experience, I already knew this. My parents had granite and quartz countertops installed multiple times over the years and they chose to use Lowe's and another fabricator that came in relatively inexpensive. After seeing the finished product with my own 2 eyes, I was shocked. The purchase from Lowe's resulted in a broken slab glued back together with horrible gaps between the cabinets and the stone on the backsplash and the other low-cost fabricator my parents used delivered their Quartz countertops scratched/gouged and the fabricator refused to replace it. We called 7 shops on the stone collection list and Brekhus Tile was the first to respond. They were extremely knowledgeable and communicated with us frequently over the couple of months that it took to go from choice to installation. We wanted a very specific type of Quartzite and although the stone collection was out of the quartzite of our choice, Brekhus was able to locate the same type of slabs half way across the country and they had them shipped to Denver for us at no additional charge. The Breakhus installation team were not subcontractors but full-time employees of Brekhus. They did an outstanding job on the install as did the Brekhus expert that came out to do the measurements in the kitchen. I was absolutely blown away at how tight the tolerances were between the cabinets and the stone for the backsplash. Brekhus was more than reasonable on pricing and the job they did was nothing less than worth every penny. Abby Ulloa was our client representative and working her was a marvelous experience. Abby is extremely knowledgeable, having been in the stone and tile business for quite a few years. She gave us expert and competent advice and she was extremely accommodating in satisfying our specific needs. Brekhus also gave us a fair price for the quartzite stone we chose. In addition to her competence and breath of knowledge, Abby is diligent, professional, kind and a working with her was a joy. The Brekhus fabricators and installers also did a masterful job and we are thrilled with the results. Brekhus was responsive and helpful from the get go. From design, templating, fabrication to install everyone was professional and accommodating. All timelines were met. Brekhus was also flexible with a delay we had and stored our countertops until we were ready for install. Brekhus was quick to answer questions we had post install as well. Liked the fact that they could handle all the aspects of the project so that I didn't need to find multiple vendors to complete the project.

We met with sales design consultant Jennifer Scardino; she was helpful and stayed in contact with us throughout the process. Gene came to measure for the soapstone. He was meticulous, professional and explained the process to us. Mike and Patrick installed the soapstone. They were professional, friendly and gave us helpful hints about taking care of soapstone. Before cutting the soapstone we were sent pictures so we could see what the counters would look like. This was very helpful as we had chosen soapstone with a considerable veining and wanted a specific piece of the soapstone for the island. It was a pleasure working with Brekhus.

I would not recommend using this contractor. Tara is one of the most incompetent sales associates/managers with which I have ever dealt. They did not reserve the stone we paid for, which resulted in our remodel not being exactly what my wife wanted. Tara then lied to us about why our stone couldn't be used, saying that it had cracks in it, instead of admitting to her mistake. The work was delayed and then the installers cracked our new countertop when drilling the holes. Brekhus' solution to this mess was to claim our new counter was more expensive and they would absorb the cost, not offering any consideration for time lost or not getting our original countertop. Ultimately their customer service is terrible and since there are many more fabricators in the metro area, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The quality of work was excellent. They were very helpful and may I say patient with us, while we were trying to pick the color and styles of granite. Their designer did an excellent job of creating a back splash based on some others we had seen.  All of the installs were as scheduled and they cleaned up afterwards excellently.

We choose granite from a wholesaler then contacted Brekhus for an estimate.  I was able to email a layout of our kitchen and they emailed an estimate back to me.  All very easy.  When we were ready for the fabrication, I called and scheduled the area to be measured.  The measuring was done with lasers and a computer.  The gentleman who did the measuring was very professional and pleasant.  About 3 days later, I was emailed a picture of my granite with the proposed layout.  I had the option of changing where the sections were to be cut.  However, they had chosen exactly the sections of the slab I liked the most so I simply email my acceptance.  A few days later the granite was installed.  The installers were contracted by Brekhus but I was very pleased with them.  They covered my floors before bringing in their equipment.  Installed the sections including a 75 lb under mount sink.  They also gave me care instructions.   Later that day I received and email fro Brekhus with a copy of my paid invoice and a booklet detailing the care of granite.  If the estimate looks high for just 1 slab, I should mention that we had chosen a very expensive slab.This entire prosses couldn't have been easier or more pleasant.  The granite is stunning and I would use Brekus again if I ever needed any tile, marble or granite.
