Bill Griggs Plumbing

I hired Key Plumbing Solutions to install some bathroom fixtures, one of which was a pedestal sink. They installed the pedestal normally rather than fitting it below the light fixture which is 4 inches to the left of the  sink center. Now my bathroom is something right out of a Dr. Seuss book. If they would have pointed it out I would have purchased a vanity instead of installing the pedestal or would have had them simply install the parts that would allow the sink to sit properly beneath the light fixture (even if the pipes showed, it would be better than the circus in there now). Bill Griggs, the owner, had previously worked on my daughter's house and had done a good job (despite not pointing out that her bathtub was leaking while working in one of her bathrooms so now she gets to pay another plumber's base fee to come out even though he could have fixed it while he was already there). After several phone calls they did not even show the common curtesy of responding to me to discuss. After I submitted a complaint on the BBB, Bill responded tersely and has made no attempt to right the situation. Lesson: should have paid with a credit card so I could have disputed the transaction.

The diagnosis and thus the bid and timeline were entirely accurate. This work took most of the day. Tools - I don't know what they are called - but big tools using hydrolics and electicity were used to cut out the old stubborn pipe. This pipe was HEAVY and bulky. Some drywall had to be removed - but Bill's gueses as to where the pipes resided were spot-on - so minimal damage that way. This was wall, ceiling and floor work. Unbelievable. Bill removed all the old pipes and installed all the new pipes - but installed them smarter - we now have more space in our downstairs closet and we are able to scoot the washer and dryer back into the upstairs closet further - this is a nice by-product of the work. This vendor knows what they are doing.

Bill Griggs Plumbing came onto the job with the necessary knowledge to properly analyze options and recommend the best solution, in this case the Rinnai. Bill Griggs Plumbing provided an accurate quote, the ability to tweak, and signoff before the work started. He assisted in cleaning the mess the old tank water heater made. He professionally and fairly handled my change in scope of work in the midst of project. The work was delivered on-time, with minimal disruption and mess and at the quoted price. What I have found to be unique about Bill Griggs Plumbing is that in working with Bill Griggs, I, my wife and children always feel completely comfortable with Bill in the house.
