BEV SULLIVAN'S ORGANIZE NOW

My husband had passed away the year before, and I was paralyzed with all the clutter and stuff we'd saved for 30 years. My (3200-sq foot) home overwhelmed me, and I desperately needed to find a smaller home, but I could not focus with all the clutter. I'd heard of professional organizers so checked Yellow Pages and found Bev Sullivan's Organize Now company. I called, we set up an appt, and she visited my home to evaluate. We discussed then agreed on a master plan with a timetable for organizing the entire house and eliminating all clutter. We worked room by room, finding places for every item I kept and getting rid of the rest. Bev has great recycling and reusing resources for unwanted items, so very little was thrown away. Knowing others would use the items helped me let go of them. It was very emotional when I went through my deceased husband and parent's things, and I so appreciated how respectful Bev was. She listened with great compassion to the stories these things held. Bev worked hard every minute, rolling up her sleeves and diving in. Her gentle sense of humor and nonjudgmental attitude made a big difference to me. She is easy to work with, and -- what I appreciated the most -- she is willing to listen. I also trusted her confidentiality completely. Soon after we finished organizing the house, I felt lighter and freer and had more clarity, so I began looking for a new, smaller house, which I found just seven blocks away! Bev and I then had to find new homes for at least 70% of furniture and garage/basement items that I'd saved. She created another master plan and timetable for the move itself, which saved my sanity and saved a lot of money. Since then, Bev has helped me stay on track with an ongoing Stay Organized Program. In my new home we have organized the basement, closets, kitchen and home office. I am so much more efficient and peaceful, and I have taken on more challenging freelance projects, which have already improved my finances. Thanks to Bev Sullivan, I've gone from clutter paralysis to amazing creativity and productivity. I've never hired such a talent and conscientious person before, and I am truly grateful for her and her work.
