What a great company to work with. It's rare to offer a recommendation. Usually, these things involve all sorts of frustrations. They were timely in communication and scheduling. They kept to the quoted price. We've referred friends to them and would do so again.

My appointment time was between 8am and 10 am. The installer (Enrique) arrived at 8:03 am . I had already decided where I wanted the fan to be installed. Enrique looked over the job and said that the location was fine. We talked for about 10 minutes about how the fan would be most effective. Enrique gave me his advice (he has been doing these installations for years). I declined his suggestion for additional vents, since I had a "full ridge vent" installed with my new roof last year. There was no pressure from Enrique, and he assured me that I can have additional vents installed later if need be. When the installation was complete, Enrique demonstrated how the fan works, the distance that the house windows should be opened and other helpful information. It is unbelievable how much air is moved thru the house with this appliance. It is going to be great! Enrique told me that the fan would be noisier in the hallway where I wanted the fan installed...the sound echos in that type of space. Indeed while standing in the hallway, it seems noisy, but in the very next room, the volume was not enough to interfere with watching TV. There is very little noise when the fan is switched to low. Enrique was prompt, professional, courteous, pleasant and well groomed. He respected that I was the customer. He covered the area he was working in and cleaned up when done. He worked quietly...as much as one can when using tools. He is efficient at his job. The whole job was done from knock on the door to driving down the driveway in about 3.5 hours. It is April, and I am sure when Denver gets its streak of 90 degree weather this fan will give the results I want. By the way....Enrique arrived in a fairly new, clean, well organized, well stocked van. This service was top-notch!!! In addition, Seymour, apparently the owner of this shop, interacted with me per email several times last summer, as I was trying to coordinate the fan installation with the new roof project. He spent considerable time giving me information. When I emailed 2 weeks ago I got exactly the appointment time I wanted. Great service all around.

I initially spoke with Seymour on the phone. I drove out to purchase a fan and pick it up and realized it was much larger than would fit into my car. While I was there Seymour took a few minutes to show me the different sizes and make some recommendations for installation.

I later called and purchased over the phone and he had it delivered to my front door in Westminster promptly. This isn't a big company, from what I can tell Seymour runs the company from his home. To me this is great, it is obvious he cares about what he is selling and if you are also supporting local Denver business.

Along with the fan and vent cover being delivered, I was provided with DIY instructions for installation which were enhanced from the basic instructions provided by the manufacturer. The install went well, and Seymour mentioned I could call if I got stuck and he would walk me through it.

The product is very high quality, it is hard to find stuff like this at a big box store.

I had a very positive experience, I enjoy doing business with someone local who is passionate about what they are selling.
If you want to buy a high quality fan locally, I would not hesitate to recommend anyone purchase a fan from Seymour at atticfan.com.

I love the attic fan, I have not run my A/C since installing this at the end of July.

They came in, looked at my situation and recommended a certain size of fan. And then, they did the work in order to install it. They installed it and fired it up.

The company was invited into replace a 21 year old attic fan.  The new fan is significantly quieter.  The installer did an excellent job of cleaning up.  The installer was out of certain vent covers.  The installation of the fan was done on Monday.  The installer did not believe that the covers would come in until Friday.  the vent covers came in on Wednesday and the installer came out that evening to install the covers so that we could fully operate the fan.

We purchased an attic fan in August 2012 from Attic Fans.  The timer failed to work on 6/10/13.  Called Attic Fans for service next day.  They were at our house about 2 hours after we called  - WOW! Expected to pay a service call and parts.  Tech said NO CHARGE! THIS IS HOW A BUSINESS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED!!

Besides acknowledging my calls, no installer has been sent to perform the work. At this point, they should replace the covers at no cost.

The quality of the fan is vastly superior to those found in the big box stores.  The installers were great; arriving on time, answering all our questions with strong knowledgeable of their work and behaving in a very professional manner.  They had to add several additional ventilation vents in our roof to ensure proper functioning of the unit.  The entire installation took about 4 to 5 hours and when they were done their work area was spotless.  The fan works great and keeps our electric bill from getting too out of hand during our hot Colorado summers.  We have air conditioning, but once the sun goes down, we open the windows and turn on the whole house fan for much more comfortable and inexpensive cooling.  The unit and installation were  a bit pricey ($2000), but we are very happy with the results.

Seymour and his team are some of the most courteous, professional, kind people I have dealt with in a long time. They worked quickly and cleanly to install a wonderful new whole house fan in my home. They made the best of a difficult situation in dealing with old wiring from a prior DIY fan install and removal. The condition of that old wiring caused them to have to make several service calls within one week shortly after they installed the new fan. On each visit, without exception, the person responding to the service call was prompt, thorough, and pleasant. Let me emphasize that the problems requiring the service calls were due to old wiring and not due to any fault on the part of Weatherseal (Atticfan.com). The folks from Weatherseal (Atticfan.com) have been absolutely fantastic to deal with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Now that all the kinks in the old wiring have been addressed the fan is running beautifully, and is truly amazing. I wish I had called Weatherseal (Atticfan.com) years ago. Plus, it is great peace of mind knowing how responsive the folks from Weatherseal (Atticfan.com) are to their customers, how hard they work to achieve customer satisfaction, and how well they stand behind their work!

I saw their display at a home and garden show and was impressed by how quiet the fans are. From a distance, I could only tell it was running by the paper streamers that were attached. I called and got an estimate over the phone. They can tell what size of fan is best by the sq footage of the house. The installer came on time and put in extra vents in the roof to help let the hot air out. Then he cut the square hole in the ceiling and put in the fan. He hooked up the electrics and put in a hi/low switch along with a timer. He showed me how it all works and cleaned up everything when done. When the temp outside drops below that of the house inside, the fan brings in the cool air. BUT it is important to open enough windows to let the air in. In my case 3 square feet.

After various poor contractor experiences I was overwhelmingly pleased with this contractor. One person arrived, on time, in a van with ALL of the necessary equipment to do the work (extra wood, electrical, etc), and this guy worked all day and FINISHED the job in one day (including additional roof venting) just as I was told he would. He was professional, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards, including vacuuming (even though he made very little mess to begin with). This guy had to climb two flights of stairs plus climb into the attic and onto the roof to complete the work and he did ALL of it by himself, yet he did a perfect job. The price was exactly what he estimated after he did an assessment upon his arrival. Oh, and the fan is QUIET!
