Alvarro has completed one set of floors for me and is currently finishing up another project complete with full stairs and banister install. I highly recommend Alvarro and his crew, the finishing is great and they are very professional to work with.

There was a small mix up and I didn't get a call back like I was told that I would, but once I called back, they were responsive and scheduled right away. Discussion about oil vs water based polyurethane did not happen initially so I ended up paying more than was quoted for water based finish. Overall, they guys were great, and they did a great job. Floors look awesome.

I hired Aspen Hardwood Floors for a second job after they did a great job on refinishing floors in another house I own. They were prompt, courteou, made almost no dust and taped off the rest of the house, and were done in 2 days. they also installed wooden floor vents at $40 which I thought was a great bargain over my old metal ones. My only initial concern was that the actual workers were not from Aspen hardwood floors. It was his brother in law's company name on the truck but he said they worked on larger jobs together. The work performed was of the same high quality that I received the first time.

I called Alvaro to give us an estimate on refinishing the hardwood floors in a house we are selling to my brother. He came right out, was right on time & was very friendly. He emailed us the quote immediately as well as went over it with us on the spot. He broke down every cost into separate line items so we could pick & choose what options we wanted or did not want. Alvaro was able to get us on the schedule to have the work done that very next week which was perfect as we were in a serious time crunch. Alvaro & his crew showed up on time each day, were very professional & kind & explained everything they were doing & the time frame in which it would be done. They had originally said the floors would take 3 days from the time they started to the time we could walk on them, but it ended up only taking 2 days! We had done all the carpet tear out & removal of tack strips & staples ourselves to save some money which also saved the crew a lot of time. They had 2 areas of floor that had been cut out for duct work many years ago that they had to patch in & you can't even tell where those spots were now. Also, although all surfaces in the house did need a wipe down later on, I was pretty surprised at how little dust there was. They did a fantastic job & we were stunned at how beautiful the floors turned out. We went with a natural, water base finish & we are so glad we did because all the natural variations in the wood really stand out! Alvaro said that once my brother is in the house for a while, if anything turns up that needs attention (any snags, splinters, etc...) to call him & they will come back out to fix it. So far there were only a couple of tiny splinters but I'm not sure they're significant enough to call them back out, but I know if they get worse that Alvaro will make it right! We also had Alvaro give us a price on painting the interior of the upstairs & also putting on new baseboards throughout the upstairs but it turned out those just weren't in the budget. The floor refinishing was a very reasonable price for the amount of work & size of the house, but the painting & baseboards did seem to be a bit pricey by comparison. We would certainly use them again for hardwood floor refinishing!

Alvaro was very professional and a good communicator. He showed up every day to make sure everything was going ok. He made sure I was happy with the stain I chose after putting down three different samples. The team members were friendly, arrived when they said they would, were focused on their work and cleaned up after themselves. Plastic sheeting was put up to keep dust from getting all over. Their process was dustless anyway and we have almost no extra dust in the house. Their price was competitive and I thought reasonable for the work. Our floors look great, I am very pleased! We had gotten another estimate but they would not move the furniture so we went with Aspen since they will. We did not want to risk scratching the new finish.

Had our old and stained wood floors refinished and they look fantastic! Alvaro and his guys did an amazing job sanding out 90 yrs worth of stains and damage and bringing our floor back to just like new condition. They were very professional throughout the 2 days onsite and kept everything clean and dust free, and also were very nice people to deal with. The price was also very good, especially for the high quality of work they performed. Couldn't be happier, thanks guys!

Alvaro and his crew have done a spectacular job! The crew was prompt, courteous, and very professional. They achieved a high level of quality, with an amazing attention to detail. They made sure that everything fit perfectly, even in the unseen areas of closets, pantries, and around heat registers. They paid close attention to the fit of doors and baseboards. They matched exactly our color preference. They took a rather mundane staircase and made it into the showpiece of the house!They were very professional and a pleasure to have in our home (we stayed the whole time).I would definitely recommend Alvaro and the Aspen crew to anyone considering any type of flooring work!

We are so pleased with our hardwood and tile flooring. Gustavo and Rigoberto did an excellent job. There was a lot of detail work around our steps and fireplace, and we were amazed at the quality of work that went into it. We have a stone fireplace and they were able to cut the wood perfectly to fit around the stones. We had carpet on our steps and questioned whether to put hardwood on them, but knew it would be quite costly for that. Actually the wood on the steps turned out to be really nice, so they sanded and stained them and they turned out beautiful! They did an excellent job laying the tile flooring. They created a beautiful border around the tile area. We were so pleased. They were punctual each morning, worked hard all day, and then did a good job of cleaning up before they left. They were both very easy to work with, and were accommodating to any changes or additions that I requested. Alvaro was very professional and answered all of our questions. We will definitely request their services again.

The experience was pretty good. They got the job done and did a good job, with the install and stuff. They damaged one of our refrigerators and were not able to fix that, but we did work it out. So all in all it was a good experience, I guess. I bought the hardwood myself. We had to call them back to do a couple of things. They stuck with when they said they were going to come out.

They did a good job and were careful.  It was economically very good.  Scheduling, as I recall was good.  I was particularly impressed with the quality of work.  They were very efficient and got the job done and I would definitely use them again in the future.

I recently purchased a home that was built in 1942. It has lots of charm but needed some cosmetic work. I was referred to Alvaro and Sarah by my Real Estate agent and called for a bid on refinishing the floors. While discussing the floors Alvaro also  offered me a bid on the painting. I was very pleased with the pricing and they were able to start in just one week. The work was well done. The team was well supervised by Alvaro, deadlines were met and I was well informed of what was happening each day. I felt like part of the team as we made decisions together. Having just moved in,  I couldn't afford to move out or stay in a hotel while they did the work. This was no problem as the workers were very willing to work around the necessities of my bed and clothing, moving things from room to room as they progressed through the house. After  the work was completed they moved everything back to its original place?.all with no extra charge. The end product was exceptional. I have had many compliments on the transformation. The floors are incredibly well done. I am so pleased that I have asked Alvaro for a bid on my deck this Spring. I trust this company. Thank you.

All in all, I thought they did a terrific job on the Trex deck.  We had a few minor glitches. One still has not been resolved.  It was the distributor of the Trex product that was at fault.  They did build a nice box step in the back for our back deck though.  They cleaned up debris really well after the job was completed.  We are still enjoying our deck.  If we ever need our back deck rebuilt, I would contact them again.  This time, I will know what to look for.

They did a nice job. They charged me minimal. They were prompt and they did more than I thought they would do. They were really nice. I have used them two more time. It could not have gone better. I was perfectly happy with what they did and for what I paid for, it was a good deal. They did what they said they would do. I probably would not use them again.
