Anns Appliance Repair

DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN! I cannot stress this enough. We're considering taking her to small claims court for putting my family in danger. I contacted Ann to fix our broken oven, which was taking an hour to preheat. Ann was at my house for about 10 minutes, told me everything was fine with the oven, and that I had an electrical problem. So, I paid her the $125 and she left. The next week, I hired an electrician for $300. He physically showed me the voltage was correct and insisted it was an issue with the oven. When I reached out to Ann, she was aggressive and difficult. Eventually, she agreed to come back over again. When she arrived, we were already preheating the oven. She stayed for about 45 before informing us there was nothing she could do. Two weeks later I hired another appliance person to investigate the problem. Within a few minutes, the repairman discovered a huge issue with the oven and urged us to unplug it until it was fixed or replaced. Evidently, it could have started a fire. So, Ann's incompetency could have actually killed my family and burned down my home. When I told her what I learned she didn't even bother to reply.

She did a terrific job on both of them. She showed up on time and was good company while she was doing the work. I would highly recommend her.

Ann does not have an answering service, she has a cell. She answered my call that day, and came in the next. She was able to assess quickly what was wrong. She not only has the experience but, as she was explaining to me, the training to understand some of the newer, more-computer-than-machine, appliances. She ordered the parts, fixed the rest, and when the parts came in, she called me and set a time that was good for me to install them. What's more, she's a hoot! Warm, friendly and very happy to give you a tutorial on your appliances. She won't try to sell you on what you don't need--honesty is a rarity, and I was so relieved to find this gem. [also, the stackable washer/dryer was a bit tricky, and I needed to get some extra help for Ann to bring the dryer down to the floor, but she's already ordered a piece of equipment so she can work on stackable units with no help. yes all by herself!
