Yes, Altitude Fence and Deck advertises the best warranty in the business of 5 years, but getting them to honor it has been impossible. We had a deck constructed in November of 2015. This was 6 weeks after the promised start date, but what the heck- we were getting a good price. The installation took over 2 weeks when they stated that it was a 4 day job. The crew takes off ½ day on Friday and every Monday. Even during the three and one-half day work week, there were days that they were not able to be here due to whatever the excuse was for the day; one of the workers was in the hospital, there was no helper available. We quickly understood how they were 6 weeks late in starting. In the Spring we noticed some problems- the fascia board was warping in three places and many of the post sleeves were installed an inch or more above the deck. I contacted Eric and he assured me that it would be an easy fix. He put us off through May, June and finally was going to be out here at the end of a week in the first part of July. He was a no-show and since that time he has not taken or returned my calls or texts. In fact, I sent this review to his company email and text him a copy of it. Still no response! Take this into account before contracting with him.

From the first contact to the final product Eric was all about professionalism, he showed when promised and was great to work with as well as providing a product and service that met our needs.

Deck was done nicely but he installed the railing posts so poorly I had to replace them.  In doing so I had to remove some of his decking.  I asked him to provide me with 2 pieces of decking.  He failed to respond for weeks.  When he finally responded he promised me the pieces but never delivered.  I contacted him several times and he never responded.  I went through BBB and finally got a response but he was not willing to replace the decking.

Shady business.
Terrible customer service.
Would never ever recommend him to my worst enemy!
