Alpha Ecological

We are remodeling our home and during demolition the contract found indication of termites.  I called Alpha for an appointment to evaluate if there were active termite problem.  The service person was very knowledgeable. The termite activity was old but we decided to treat the area.    He suggested a limited area that had to be sprayed.  He didn't try to sell us more prevention than we needed.  The price was reasonable for the service.  We also like the fact that the company uses human and pet friendly products.

I wasn't very happy with them. The guy that does it was great but they have problems in their billing department. I would write the guy a check and then they would send me an invoice a month later that I would have to pay. It turns out the credited the wrong account and the mess is not worth the service. They use a pesticide that is totally non-toxic, you could even drink it.

They did a good job. I recommended them to a friend who used them.

When I moved into my first house last spring, I found that it was infested with spiders. They were everywhere, and the basement alone held hundreds. Alpha Ecological uses eco-friendly products that are safe to use around pets and foods. Because it isn't instant poison, I continued to see some spiders for a couple weeks afterward, which they said I would. They came back and sprayed inside and out once again because after some weeks of no spiders I began to see them again. Since then, I've had them come out on a bimonthly basis to spray the outside perimeter of the house. They were very friendly on the phone. The technician was on time and professional and took frantic arachnophobes and overly friendly cats in stride. I'll continue to have them come by every other month, and I've been recommending them to my neighbors. And since the second time they sprayed the inside, I haven't seen any spiders, or earwigs, or any other creepy crawlers.
