"We would like to offer up an explanation for what transpired on this loss. It is unfortunate that there was so much confusion on this loss, that resulted in an unhappy customer. Per industry standards, we performed pre-indoor air quality testing on the entire home. This testing did suggest elevated mold spores in an area of the home that was not part of the water loss we were hired to mitigate. We actually did try and follow protocol to filtrate the air in this particular room, with the use of an air scrubber, but the homeowner asked us to remove the air scrubber for fear it would not be covered by insurance. We honored this request and had it removed the following day. We never billed for the use of this equipment. This would generally be considered good customer service. We also had this loss invoiced to the insurance company in 7 days from the date of completion, and paid by the insurance company by 5 days after that. In less than 2 weeks, this loss was billed & paid in full by insurance. When invoices were requested by the homeowner, we provided them within less than 24 hours. We feel like this is a reasonable customer service turn around time. We are sorry this customer was dissatisfied, overall. We hope to see the rating on this review improved since everything that we did was within industry standard, was timely and was paid in full by insurance."
