Overall, it went well. It seems that they did good work, and did it in a timely fashion. There were a couple of things that I wasn't as pleased with. The largest was that they damaged our walls slightly while carrying their suction machine into the basement, and did not notify me of this. A few other things were: they sent the duct folks out right after the mold folks, but the duct folks could not do the work while the mold remediation was in place, so we had to reschedule, thankfully for the following day, though the duct folks left without telling me what was happening; while the mold remediation was being done, there were quite a few holes in their plastic remediation tubing that was venting air from the furnace room to the outside - this seemed sloppy to me, as it let contaminated air into the house; finally, one of the technicians cursed a lot and was not very professional. Apart from these concerns, it was an overall positive experience. The other technicians were respectful and kept me informed. The work was completed when they said it would be, and the mold is gone and the ducts are clean.

They were so good, they are professional, efficient and professional.

Mark and Pat (the owners) showed up within 90 minutes and set to work evaluating the damaged area and the adjoining rooms. They quickly determined that the water had traveled to affect 3 rooms and not just the one I knew about. They immediately called in extra help and had baseboards and carpet out within 4 hours and left us with 8 fans and 2 enormous dehumidifiers. After clearing an asbestos test they came back to finish pulling drywall and insulation on a Saturday evening. I don't think these guys ever sleep. Mark and Pat were both very diligent about following up and making sure I knew what was going on at all times even though they got 8 more jobs right after ours. We were completely dried out and ready to begin rebuilding in 4 days. Our insurance claims adjuster even remarked at how clean of a job they did for us.There may be bigger companies and cheaper companies but if we ever need any damage restoration again we will immediately call AdvantaClean.

The company responded quickly to our phone call (within 2  hours) and came by every day to check on the drying process.  They removed wet drywall and baseboards, drilled holes in the drywall to dry the areas between the walls to prevent mold growth and further damage.

Mark and his team came out quickly - within 24 hours - and provided us with a complete inspection of the basement corner, which required a good bit of work, including carpet tearout and baseboard and drywall removal. Nothing like this is ever enjoyable for a homeowner, but Mark walked us through the process step by step and I felt at every point during the process that everything that needed removing was being removed, and not an inch more. Mark's team removed all of the impacted materials and left us in great shape to start rebuilding the basement corner. A month later, we're back in business, and I'm grateful to Mark and the Advanta crew for the exceptional job they did.
