I have a home warranty with First American Home Warranty. My AC compressor went out, FAHW dispatched this company to investigate. We would call this contractor and they would not set up up an appointment instead, they would never pick up and only called us back when we complained to FAHW. The contractor arrived a week after I submitted the ticket. The first thing the contractor did was say it was an Electrical problem we brought out an electrician who reset the breaker and said there was a short in the AC. I had to hire another contractor who I paid out of my own pocket to prove something was actually wrong with the AC. The AC contractor spent the appointment checking out the AC bad-mouthing the Electrician. Finally, the contractor relented saying that yes something was actually wrong with the AC, the compressor needed to be replaced. He left saying he would have to figure out how much it would cost, and home warranty should cover it. AC is considered covered under any straight forward reading of the contract. When we FAHW came back contractor said they had to "modify" the system to support new kind of coolant, $500 to modify the system, $100 to recover the old coolant. Surprising but not the contractor's fault but not communicated directly to me. Instead, I had to spend time calling FAHW and calling the contractor to get a straight answer. Repeatedly attempted to setup appointment would schedule and then have it canceled the day of, or a response of "I'm sorry we can set up an appointment now." This company's lack of ability to be truthful and honest to its customers is the reason why I rated it an F. I would encourage you to never let this company touch your systems, you will regret it as I have.
