After doing my entire place (kitchen, bathroom & more) I came back to Adam’s and had them do my closet. Steve masterfully and meticulously designed every inch of this closet with me. I am so picky! We found a way to build in French pocket doors in order to nearly double the usable space. Custom work takes some partnership, but is so worth it. Steve always makes sure it’s perfect by completion. Love that they do full service projects. Fast and absolutely premium workmanship!!!

We worked with Steve on a kitchen remodel. Our house is a older home. We met with Steve and he made suggestions about removing some walls to open up the area. Steve gave us the design and a short time later the walls we out and the new cabinets were ready to go. The cabinets were very well done and the install was flawless. He made a suggestion about having the bay windows lined with the left over granite from the kitchen. Everything was done on time and turned out perfect. We did another entertainment center as well with the same result. I would highly recommend.

Perfect. I had Steve design and make new kitchen cabinets for my home about 2 years ago. The design was perfect for my kitchen. It was installed in the exact time frame and a great value for the project. I ALWAYS get tons of compliments on the quality of work. I called to have some more work done and was told Steve had sold the business. It was apparent in the first few seconds that the new owners had no clue what they were doing or even how to start the process. Too bad.

It's difficult to know where to begin. I suppose it is important to say the owner Steve sold the company during our installation. I haven't worked with the new owners or even asked if our "lifetime warranty" will be honored but the staff who built and installed our cabinets still work there and they were part of the issues we had with our job. 1. We were asked to provide our sink, disposal and microwave so the cabinets could be built around them. a. The microwave was returned damaged and had clearly been dropped on one corner. Unfortunately, we didn't open it for a few weeks and at that point could prove they damaged it. When we gave it to them it was brand new in an undamaged box. b. The sink cabinet was built in a way that did not allow the plumber space to fit all plumbing behind it. As a result we have to open one of the drawers to get the faucet to retract/pull out correctly. c. The cabinet drawers were not built to accommodate the disposal. We couldn't figure out why they asked for it in the first place. 2. Steve, the owner at the time, told the contractor to build a wall in the wrong place. We had to tear down the frame and rebuild it. Had we left it in place, there would have been no space to move between the kitchen and dining room. Additionally, because of this mistake, we had to set one of the cabinets several inches away from the wall which increased the cost of the countertop. 3. The cabinet builders designed/built the trash pullout so that it rubs against the cabinet next to it every single time it closes. This means that every single time we close this we have to pull it to the side until it clears the other cabinet and since it is the most used cabinet in the kitchen, it is a major pain. During installation I pointed this out and both Steve and Jason were angry with me for insisting it be fixed. 4. None of the drawers in our cabinets stay aligned, something is always out of place just enough to make them look cheap, which they were not. 5. The worst part of this job was the installation. Steve the former owner appeared to be mentally unstable during the installation. It is difficult to say that but I don't know how else to explain it. His behavior was bizarre and scary at times. This isn't important since he sold the company but what is important is Jason's behavior during the installation. We had approximately 20 contractors working on our project and he was by far the worst. Grumpy, would roll his eyes, cursing, told me he was ready to quit, etc. Absolutely horrible. He still works there. We were happy to spend our money locally but if we could do it over, we would have gone with a national company to get better quality, more professional service and a dependable warranty.

Words cannot begin to explain how pleased we are with our experience with Adam’s Fine Furniture and Steve Adams. We hired Steve to help us with a very extensive kitchen remodel that involved removing walls and completely reorganizing our kitchen. We had no idea where to begin, so we contacted a couple contractors and cabinet groups to help us think through and bid the project. While everyone we met with was more than professional and generous with their time, the difference between Steve and the other contractors was apparent from the start. Steve instantly saw our vision and came to the table with a number of unique ideas that really transformed our idea from a kitchen remodel into a project that would improve the entire feel of our home. Aside from his great ideas, dealing with Steve on a professional level was an entirely refreshing experience. Steve quickly came up with project pricing that was more than fair and took ownership of the entire project. However, more importantly, Steve promised a construction timeline that was less than a third of the time projected by the next closest contractor. We have a family with young children, so the duration of construction and disturbance to our family was a significant driver in our decision. Candidly, I had serious reservations that Steve could deliver on budget in the timeline he quoted. However, all the reviews we could find on Steve consistently noted that he delivered what he promised so we decided to take the plunge to see for ourselves. The result was the most positive experience that we could imagine. As a starting place, Steve honored his bid despite some unexpected changes and did not come back to the well with constant change orders and cost mark-ups. He is a man of his word, and that goes a long way. Secondly, Steve and his crew were complete magicians with the work they performed. The total project time from the beginning of demo until they returned a working kitchen to my family was 3 weeks. I repeat, 3 WEEKS! Steve had everything lined up from his staff, plumbers, electricians, granite fabricator, etc. so that when he came into the home everything went off in perfect synchronization. Steve handled all of the hidden surprises associated with remodeling a 116 year old home in stride and kept the project continually moving. Finally, Steve and his crew impressed with constant attention to detail and a strong emphasis of doing things right rather than fast or cheap. Steve and his crew take significant pride in their work and its shows in every way. We could not be happier with Steve and his company and strongly recommend them for your project. As to results, hopefully the pictures speak for themselves.

We found Steve Adams at Adams Fine after we had one of the worst remodel experiences possible with another company If that bad experience is what ended up bringing us to Adams Fine, than so be it! it was worth it.
Steve came to our home told us what he could do offered suggestions told us about his company, invited us to see his workshop/factory etc... He is a proud man and rightly so. His work is spectacular and his workers are wonderful. It is no surprise Steve is proud of his company and work he put his name on it! Adams Fine Furniture!!
The amazing thing is Steve did everything and more that he promised. Steve Adams also gave us finish times on everything and guess what? everything was done on time!! :) This guy and his company are FOR REAL!!
The best thing that has happened to us in a year is Finding Steve Adams and his company Adams Fine Furniture. Forgive me if I do not remember the names of all his workers but Ben & Jason worked like mad men and didnt leave till the job was done. No time clock here.
The way Adams Fine Furniture runs,is the way all compan
ies should run but unfortunatley most don't. This Company is a gem in the rough!!
I know Angies list only has a rating as high as A but if there was a rating higher I would give it to them.
I am looking forward to a long working relationship with Adams Fine Furniture and Steve Adams!!  (Life is good!)

They did a fantastic job managing expectations and delivering a beautiful product. The installers were very professional, and took the time to show us how prepare the furniture for transportation in case we ever move. We highly recommend Adams to anyone considering having their furniture custom made.

Spend plenty of time on the planning and design stage to be sure you get what you want and to settle on a firm price.

Excellent. All cabinets were custom made in their shop as opposed to others who order cabinets and then modify them. The installation took 2 days and went very smooth. They were also the 2nd cheapest out of 4 bids.

The craftsmanship is outstanding. Their work is excellent. They completed the work on time! They spent a lot of time with us in the design of the closet. They worked on it until we got exactly what we wanted. It's perfect! I would say if you are going to use them make sure you get a final design and a bottom line price before you start work. Don't talk price until you have a design in mind. We have used them in the past and they would still be the first we would call. I would even nominate them for the Page of Happiness!

He is a perfectionist. All the work he does is so precise and perfect. They are skilled craftsmen and are the most professional wood workers I have seen. Everything they built for me is absolutely perfect and I'm so glad we had them do our work.
