A New Heritage Painting Company

We had met Curtis a year ago when he had painted the interior of our house prior to our moving in. He and a helper did an excellent job on the painting, very neat and efficient, with a beautiful finished product. At that time Curtis mentioned he did remodels and showed us a book of and quot;before and after'sand quot; of some of his projects. When we were ready to remodel our bathroom we got 2 written bids, one of which was Curtis and Renovation Station (Gary McGaugh) who designed and procured all the main materials for our project. (Separate review written for Gary and Renovation Station - who also did a great job!) Curtis is Professional, Punctual, Precise and a Perfectionist! His bid was complete, except for a small amount of incidental materials (grout, cement board, drywall, etc. , which amounted to approximately $450 for which receipts were furnished) which was explained in his bid. He gave us an approximate start date and was in contact with us a week prior to let us know he would have to start 1-2 days later than he originally estimated because he needed to complete his current project. HE DOES NOT LEAVE ONE JOB TO WORK ON ANOTHER. All the materials were delivered to our home prior to the job starting - he does not start a project until all materials are on site. Curtis arrives at 8 A.M. and works until approximately 4:30-5 P.M. He occasionally has a helper, and arranged for an electrician and mirror/glass contractor. Curtis said the job would take 2 weeks; and it took one additional day due to starting one day late.Curtis is pleasant and explains what will be happening each day. We had a couple of and quot;hick-upsand quot; -- sometimes an older house has surprises once you start tearing out original fixtures. Curtis met each one with a sense of humor and a solution! We would highly recommend Curtis McLarty, A New Heritage Painting Company, for any painting project or remodel. Curtis has great experience and ideas, and is really nice guy to work with.
