A Man With A Van

I am very pleased with my experience using A Man With A Van services. Denise was our initial contact and explained the process and cost. She was extremely nice to talk to and answered all our questions fully. One difficulty was that we did ask for proof of insurance after we confirmed a set move date. Unfortunately, there was a delay in getting this proof and it was a bit concerning and odd that it wasn’t readily available. However, they did come through the day before the move and provided proof of insurance (which is required by my HOA). The day of the move we were scheduled for an evening move starting sometime between 11am and 1pm. However, due to significant delays from the morning move they had scheduled prior (not their fault but the fault of an unprepared client), my move didn’t start until ~2pm. That being said, T and Caleb were amazing movers. They showed up and immediately began moving my queen bed & frame, couch, and other small furniture items. For items that were loose (such as dressers) they efficiently wrapped them in saran wrap and carefully moved them to their truck. I definitely could not have moved any of the large pieces myself since I lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment with no elevator. T and Caleb were easy to communicate with and did their job swiftly. Something that would have taken me multiple hours to move out of my apartment only took them 45 minutes to get loaded into their truck with no damage to my previous apartment or items. It was well worth the money! They drove their truck behind me and then moved my furniture into my new place just as I instructed. I definitely would recommend their service! In total, the move-out and move-in for my 1 bed apt only took ~ 2 hrs.

They moved my household furniture.  There was suppose to be 3 men but only 2 showed up.  One was in his late 40's and seemed to tire often.  They took several 5-10 minute breaks during the day.  The younger one was cheerful, friendly and energetic.  They both worked hard and did a fairly good job.  There was some marks here and there where furniture hit the wall but we have touch up paint.  They were polite and very responsive to my requests.  Overall I give them a B.

The move went very well! The movers were extremely friendly, fast, and hard working. I moved into a brand new house and they were very cautious to make sure they didn't damage anything or the new house. They were willing to take items wherever they were instructed and also helped set up a complicated piece of furniture without instructions. I was quoted 8-10 hours and they were done in 6.5 so I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend these movers!

it went perfectly awesome. Our 2 movers were very professional and we had no complaints from them as we directed them to where we wanted our stuff. they were the best. Lupe and Roberto have the skills to move anything as heavy as it may be, we were surprised and by that I mean pleasantly surprised. We'll use them again for sure and recommend them 100%. Price was for 4 hours tips included.

Was told the crew would work as long as needed. They Left at 3pm on the first day cause they were tired. They did not move the heavy items first as I requested. I had to hire them and pay for a third day when the move should Have been done in two.

Timo and George were punctual, courteous, and professional. Chris replaced George for the move back- in ,he too was very polite, paid attention to the move so new wall paint was not damaged. The crew worked efficiently , arranged the clothes dresser so we could access  them during the project, this was much appreciated especially after 3 weeks. It was apparent that these men wanted to please the  customers and it worked.

On the night before the move, we received about 8 inches of snow. The company called and said that they would not be able to get to the apartment on the time we'd agreed to. But due to the traffic and roads, the movers would be about 3 hours late. They also suggested that it might be easier to concentrate onloading the truck on the first day and then travel and do the move in on the next day. This was agreeable to us.
The movers (Lupe and Chen) arrived and promptly began loading the truck. They finished loading the contents of the apartment and then went to the storage unit. They were able to get most of the storage unit on the truck, but there was a little more furniture than they anticipated. They finished loading the storage unit by 2:00. So all the loading was completed in about 5 hours including a break for lunch which we provided them.
The next day, the movers arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. They finished moving everything and placed as we requested by 11:00 am.
Everything arrived in good condition. There was nothing broken or damaged. Lupe and Chen are extremely hard workers and did an excellent job of moving for us.

We were very pleased with Lupine and Roberto today.  They did an outstanding job in unloading 4 completely packed ABF pods and moving items to designated locations in our 2 story home, lower level and garage.

Since I sold my house and new place was not ready, I needed to move everything to storage. They executed the packing of an entire house including shrink wrap and boxing within four hours with three workers. They worked extremely fast and very hard. The next day they came and loaded the moving van within two hours. They were prompt, professional and courteous. The first month of storage at their facilities was free. I definitely will use their services when I move from storage to my new place.

I called three companies to get estimates, this was one of the two that called back and pricing was comporable.  I chose this company because they called back first.  Russ confirmed the morning of the move, and was here right one time.  The men got right to work.  they were careful and asked good questions to make sure they moved everything where I wanted.  I was happy to tip these professional movers.

the 2 movers-Russ and Juan, arrived right on time and finished right on time-3.5 hours.  The guys were fast, but careful and super helpful.  I had a charity picking up some things for donation and they came with 2 people who weren't exactly movers and Russ and Juan helped them to get all of the donations in their van.  In addition, once we arrived at my new home, Russ and Juan moved additional furniture that i bought up to the second floor.  All of this extra gelp and they still finished early!  You can imagine my surprise when I called to give them a stellar review to find out that if they finish early, they get a bonus.  They would have been done about 45 minutes earlier had they not helped out, which was so kind of them.  Russ ran my move like he owned the company himself.  Had a great experienve and will recommend them to anyone I know who is moving.

Was a bad experience.  I was told it would take 2 days and it took almost 3 which created problems.  The new owners of my house scheduled a walk through at 3pm and they didn't leave until 1:30.  I wasn't able to clean up and ended up leaving some thing behind.  They were nice guys but in no hurry to complete the job.  Lots of time was wasted during the 3 days.  I'm still looking for things.  Example -- they took out all bookcase shelves and lost the tabs that hold them.  The tabs aren't expensive but I haven't been able to find the right size.  Owner was very rude when I complained about cost and lost items.

They showed up on time, efficient, reasonable priced, and very professional.  The overall service was excellent.  I had no breakage to any of my items.  I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

The only thing that bothered me was one time I felt they were a little less than careful and something almost fell out of the truck as they were moving it into the location, but they reacted very quickly and nothing was damaged.

Two guys from A Man with A Van showed up exactly when the said they would. They got right to work. They were courteous, delicate with my belongs, and quite efficient. They then moved half of my belongs to my new home, and then the other half they drove and unloaded into a storage unit. This was all done in 4 hours! I have unpacked about 50% of the boxes and so far nothing is broken or dented. And they organized all of the items in the storage unit so they it fit and I can see where everything is -- no scrounging around!

From someone that has moved as much as 17 times in 9 years, these guys are the best.Brian and Barry were pleasant and focused to getting me moved. No down time orbreaks for these guys. Very fair and great experience.

The crew showed up on time and was ready to work. I was quoted 5-7 hours but this crew was done in 4 1/2 hours. They worked without hesitation, no interruptions, and no break. They even put stuff in my crawl space which to me, seemed worth the price alone. They had no issues with arranging the room just the way you want it not just a stop and drop type of move. I would definitely recommend this company again.

It went GREAT.  Very smooth and professional, and finished ahead of schedule.

Moving crew showed up on time, and were very polite, and accommodating.  Everything went well, without any issues.  They even finished the job a few hours earlier than expected.  I would recommend them to anyone who needs to move.

They did great work.  They were very careful with the move and my belongings.

The guys that moved me were phenomenal. They were willing to help move furniture around, and put things back together. They worked hard and diligently.

Our experience with the two man crew was great. They were very patient with us as we had them move things around a few times just to get it perfect. They disassembled and reassembled our beds, carried a very large dresser up a narrow stairway, moved dozens of boxes... and never complained once.
