Answered phone when I first called and were very forthright in telling me they were very busy. Asked could I wait up to two weeks. As this was no emergency, I said that would be fine and they were here in less than two weeks. Plumber David did a great job fixing and explaining everything. His advice was very helpful and he seemed genuinely concerned with making lasting repairs and adding to my convenience in placing shut-offs .

My experience with A-1 Plumbing was good. There were a couple of toilets running and they fixed it within 15 minutes.

I needed to replace an old kitchen faucet, which is something I would normally do myself, but, I've also been meaning to install shut off valves under the sink and also noticed rusty fittings that needed to be replaced as well as an incorrectly installed garbage disposal connection. I found A-1 on Angie's List and saw that they were very close.
I called and left a voice message. A cheerful lady quickly called me back and told me that they had several jobs ahead of me and asked me, if wasn't an emergency, could I wait a few days. I told her that it would be fine. So she set up a service call for between 12-2 on the next  available day. Dave called me about a half hour before arriving and got here right on time. He got right to work and fixed everything in about an hour and a half. He did good work and his price was reasonable. But most important, I now have confidence that those old rusty fittings won't burst while I'm away. I would recommend him and hire him again.

Total cost was $150 for fixing some sprinkler tubing outside. It needed cutting the pipe and soldering on a new one. I don't think the price was terrible, but doesn't sounds like a bargain. I didn't get a bunch of quotes from a number of different plumbers so you might have a different view.

They are professional, nice and get right to work. Karen in the office worked really hard to match my existing fixture color for a new drain pull. Dave was on time, detailed and cleaned up after himself, even called the night before to confirm the appointment. Highly recommend. I will use them again soon on another plumbing job.

Everything went well. They were on time. They were fair and honest. They could have probably broken the wall pretending to look for a leak, but they thought it wasn't a leak. We would use them again in the future.

They came out the next day and arrived exactly on time. They told us what was wrong and brought the proper tools to fix the problem. He was in and out of the house in less then 2 hours. At first I thought the bill was pretty high at $400 but considering he fixed so many things in a short amount of time, it was well worth it. Highly recommend them!

A-1 has done many jobs for us and the results are always perfect. We trust A-1 to do the job right and more importantly to tell us exactly what we need to solve our problem.

This valve sprung a leak and this was the first plumber I found that was actually answering their phone during weekday business hours. This turned out to be great luck for me as they did a great job. On the phone, they first made that I had been able to turn off the water source, then told me they would arrive within 1-1/2 to 3 hours. In slightly more than an hour they called to say someone would be arriving in ? hour. They arrived as promised and had it fixed in no time! Happy, happy, happy!

A1 had done several plumbing jobs for us large and small and they totally know what they are doing. They show up on time and the job they do is made to last hopefuly another 60 years. On this last job they had to work in a small dirt area up a ladder. It was an all day job that is now complete. Just a foot note...We had to turn off our airconditioner on the roof and the airconditioning company cound not find the water valve to shut off they spent at least one hour looking and couldnt find the valve. I asked David if he could look for it and he went right to it.

When I first called the office, the receptionist was genuinely concerned about our situation and whether this was an emergency. She was absolutely prepared to send someone immediately if the situation was an emergency. How refreshing to encounter someone who truly cares. It was not an emergency, but Dave came out very quickly anyway. Even though the washing machine repair company suggested that there might be a major plumbing problem, Dave did not ever suggest or try to sell me anything more that the exact repairs that were necessary. His charges were extremely reasonable and fair, and he spent quite a bit of time explaining to me how a bigger problem could have developed. This was for my edification only, and I don't even think he charged me for the full amount of time he was at our house. Dave has helped us with a myriad of plumbing problems over the years and I will never call anyone except Dave for our plumbing needs.

These guys have always been very honest to me in the twenty-seven or so years that I have been using them. They always do what is necessary to get me service when I need it but their prices do seem to be a little high.
