Glass and Mirror Service
The replacement windshield looked horrid. There was a lot of black gunk smeared messily across the top of the windshield, it looked like a child had done the work. The technician was not there when I returned to pick up the car. When I got the car home my husband checked the windshield. There were 5-7 screws missing from the trim and, frankly, it looked like the technician had no idea how to install a windshield.
We called A-1 Auto Glass and told them about the work. After initially attempting to defend the work, even though the man we spoke had not seen it, he offered to reinstall the windshield correctly. My husband did not want them touching the car again and ended up cleaning and correcting it himself. A-1 did bring us screws to replace the ones they had lost.
I would never use this business again, very shoddy workmanship!
