The handyman showed up and assessed the situation, but had left his tools at another location, so he had to go and pick them up before he began work.He made it through most of our list in his 4 hours, but did not clean up well afterwards. There was lots of wood shrapnel and paint chips left over from the door work.Overall, they were very nice and courteous and our doors all worked as we had hoped, they just didn't pay attention to the other details that would have made this an excellent rating.

That was great. It was a very good service. He was very prompt and courteous. He did high quality work and he picked up additional supplies to fix things without any additional cost.

I had been talking with them on the phone,they were responsive, and they were fairly priced.

Everything went very well.  Scheduling was good. He was able to get to everything on my list done. He is very nice and very honest about the work. He is a very likeable guy and I feel comfortable with him in my home. I have used him twice now.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was marvelous. I had a whole list of things that needed to be done and halfway through the time, he had it almost done. He did a really nice and good job. I didn't pay any extra. The back gate had been bothering me for months and months and he did an innovative repair that I didn't think about; it was great.

They did a great job. They really worked with us and the insurance company to get us the best deal. They worked with us on materials and moved us up in the time frame because we were closing on the house we were selling. They were able to meet a tighter deadline than we initially thought. They were great to work with. We wouldn't consider using anybody else in the future.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went very well. I paid more because he was with me longer than the hours on the big deal. He was very nice and cleaned up after himself. He was very professional. I would use his service again. He didn't confirm the address before he came, and Angie's List had my old address, so he showed up at my old address, and I had to look for him.

I had a list of 6 jobs that I thought would take the 4 hours I had paid for.  He was done in 2 hours.  So I added putting electricity on my island.  I had 3 previous workers that couldn't figure out how to do the job.  He figured out how to do it and got it done in 4 hours.  It cost me for the additional 2 hours, but it was worth it!  I am starting a new list and will call him again to do it.

He did a outstanding job. Everything was done in a timely and professional manor. Steve was very capable and the value was outstanding. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The service was good. I ran out of things for him to do, but that was okay, because it was still a good price.

It went well. He showed up on time, and stayed the allotted time. He was a nice guy that did a nice job.

First, Steve is really punctual.  The main thing I needed was installation of a new garbage disposal. My house was built in 1968 so any projects that include plumbing and electrical are really problematic. He was very patient--he had to go back to the hardware store several times.  He was willing to do odds and ends of chores (cleaning dryer vent, etc.).  Came back to repair dry wall where electrician had installed a new light and wiring.  Very easy to work with.

I couldn't have been more happy with his work.  Everything that he did was perfect!  I'm a real neat freak about how caulking looks and it turned out better than I expected!  I totally trusted him and felt very comfortable with him.  I will definitely use Steve again!  Excellent!

It went exceedingly well. Steve Menke is a very hard worker and very exacting in his work. For example some of the boards replaced on the house had some carving in them and Steve duplicated this exactly on the new boards. The pool looks great with its new trim and the garage is good as new.
Steve is a good communicator, I always knew what he was doing. He answers phone calls and e-mails within a day or two.

I was very unsatisfied. The door was painted terribly?You could see the white coming through the dark paint and you could see every swirl mark from the brush. It looked like a two year old had painted the door. During our walk through, I noticed that he missed several spots where he was supposed to patch and paint and he didn?t even fix the sink until I pointed it out to him. He told me that it would take two days to finish the work and it ended up taking 10 days. When we met for me to pay him, I told him how disappointed I was in him and he gave me the excuse that he wasn?t really a painter. He initially was going to charge me $1100.00, but brought it down to $1000.00 and tried to charge me for his time to get the paint mixed.

Every time I walk through the condo I find another thing that he didn?t do properly. He wasn?t efficient with his time or truthful and I am so disappointed in the work that he did. I want to make sure others know the quality of his work and to question his abilities.

Great job, has good subs, always let us know what was going on with the job and stayed on budget.
