CUSTOM CUTS DRYWALL

Things seemed fine at first. I spoke to Jackie Abeln about getting the work done and was given what I thought was pretty reasonable quote on the job. The first day Shawn Abeln arrived to look at the work that was to be done and seemed hurried and agitated, though I didn't give it much concern at the time. Several days later when the work was scheduled to begin Shawn Abeln showed up noticibly intoxicated and I thought I smelled marijuana on his clothes. I informed Mr. Abeln that I was not comfortable with him working on my home in that condition and he mumbled something at me before returning to his vehicle and speeding away. I did not want to get him into trouble by calling the police and reporting him but I was afraid for other people's safety and decided to call Custom Cuts and let someone know what had happened. Jackie was very apologetic and promised to check on him. The next day Shawn Abeln showed back up at my home and gave a curt apology about the previous days incident but was very rude and inconsiderate the rest of the day. After a couple days of being ignored or having Mr. Abeln flat out be rude to me in my own home I again contacted custom cuts and asked that Shawn not be sent to my home any more. Jackie was again very apologetic and promised to have someone else finish the work, which was eventually done. Strangely though, two nights after that conversation mine and my wifes vehicles were vandalized with profanities scratched into the hood and doors. I cannot say with surety that the vandal was in fact Shawn Abeln but with his previous behavior toward us and no other obvious culprits I thought it was necessary to warn other people who may be considering Custom Cuts.
