Colorado Heating LLC

We purchased a home in the mountains in the month of May which has a teledyne laars boiler system for radiant heat. Per the time of year we were obviously not using the heat very much. Come the first frigid temps of fall and winter our boiler kept shorting out. We contacted this company to come take a look at the boiler and to trouble shoot the problem. Because of where we live services and options are limited and this company was the only one that we found in our area that stated they specialized in our type of system. Bill came out the same day, stated he actually was the one who installed the system with the previous owners. Spoke with my husband at length and made plans to work on getting a new circuit board for our system and the plans to move forward. He failed to call us back or return 2 phone calls/ messages left by my husband. I finally called and Bill answered immediately, I'm assuming he didn't recognize my number. He acted as if he didn't remember us at first but then upon more discussion he asked me to text him the serial and make number of the boiler so he could price and order the needed parts. I never heard back from him following the text or a follow-up phone call. As stated before, services are limited up here, and their website prides themselves on servicing our mountain communities. A month later we are still without hot water/ heat sporadically. We have contacted the manufacturer directly to put us in contact with a specialist of Teledyne Laars but have to pay a $75 service fee, as we live so far from Denver. After having to take another freezing shower, I decided to do more research on this company and found very similar reviews on yahoo and yellow pages. I guess I should have done this before wasting our time with CBPH....thank goodness for Angie's list. Hopefully this will help others from dealing with the same issues of trying to use CBPH.
