The home seller was present at the inspection and insisted that we use a drain cleanout point to perform the inspection from. After taking a closer look, Dan concluded that the existing cleanout entry point left a blind spot of 10-15 feet of sewer that the camera wouldn't see--so he recommended and insisted that it was in our best interest as the buyers to do the scope from the toilet in the basement. We appreciated Dan's advice and professionalism in protecting our best interest. They removed the toilet, performed the scope, and re-installed the toilet with a new wax seal.
See Inside Sewer Scope posted the narrated video of our sewer scope that night--it was clear and easy to understand. We would definitely use them again.
His report was not as detailed as I would have liked, but having it in conjunction with the video was enough for me to understand what he was finding. Not having been at the inspection personally, I would suggest getting pictures of any locations where the sewer problems arose and include those in the report or separate. I further called him to discuss his findings and he was patient to describe the issues and recommendations.
