RICHMOND HOMES

Very frustrated with @RichmondHomes. We love our house but after only 30 days the workmanship is questionable at this point and we're still waiting for items to be resolved since closing that the project manager Sean keeps promising he'll fix and always has some excuse. We've had door knobs fall off, the dryer outlet was wired wrong and thankfully our smart appliances were able to identify there was an issue. The house was filthy when we moved in. I'm still working to get all the forehead prints off the windows and mirrors that were installed and I ended up with metal "shrapnel" imbedded in my foot from the basement so I went down to vacuum and needed two canisters to clean out all the dirt and debris that was on the floor. I was so thankful my toddler didn't step on something sharp. The windows and doors don't seal well and after the recent bout with the wind we have dirt inside nearly all the windows that blew in through the very loud whistling windows. Let's not forget about closing. Sean didn't get the certificate of occupancy prior to our final walkthrough so we got to go to closing, but after signing all the paperwork the title company wouldn't give us the keys until they got the "CO." That was a punch to the gut, essentially being told sure you own the house, but you can't go in. Richmond has not made us feel like we are a priority or important. We had at least four project managers that worked on our house and none of them ever finished the job. Literally not one ever. We always just get handed off and plenty of excuses. I was just informed Sean is leaving and he hasn't completed what was promised, in our contract, and paid for.
