Denver Fence Guys built an excellent fence for us in a timely and efficient manner. Tom Boline, the sales representative and the team were prompt, reliable and trustworthy. The fence they erected is solid and exactly what they said they would do. We had some trees and other obstacles that they effectively navigated. Tom Boline communicated effectively. We are using them again on a second project.

From the moment I first met with Barrett from Denver Fence Guys I knew this was the organization I wanted to work with. We continued to get 3 additional quotes from other companies to do our due diligence and not only did DFG come in with the most reasonable quote but they had the best attitudes and ease to work with out of the group as well. So often you have to choose price over customer service so getting to have the best of both worlds was a rare pleasure! When it came to do the install the actual crew doing the work was exceedingly courteous and respectful. They were reliable and timely. They completed the job in the amount of time they expected and the finished product is gorgeous. Since the job has been completed and the final bill has been paid there has been a couple little things that have come up that we didn't notice on the final walk through. Each time the company has been very quick to respond in communication and getting the fix in place. I wish working with all companies was as easy as working the DFG!!

After deciding to go with Denver Fence Guys I setup a time with the sales guy and got the contract signed on a Monday. I was told I'd be contacted soon with further details. Since this was a lot of money to me I expected confirmation the next day. I ended up emailing the sales guy that Thursday to find out if everything was on track. On Friday I received an email from Barret saying that yes everything was on the schedule and that I would be contacted by a project manager a week or so before the start date. I also asked when the first half of the payment was due and was told I would invoiced a week before install. A week before install came and went with no contact from a project manager and no invoice for payment. I was scheduled for a Monday start and ended up emailing Barret the Thursday evening before to see if everything was still on track. After a quick flurry of emails he pushed the start date back a day. Due to weather and an issues on my side (found a large yellow jacket nest along the fence line that had to be professionally removed) Barret and I settled on a Wednesday start. I was told the crew would arrive between 7:30am and 9:30am. At 10:30am I called Barrent and was told the crew would arrive by lunch. An hour later I was called and told they would not be out that day. I have a flexible work environment but not that flexible. Having to reschedule my entire week for a third time was not good. I had to push back their arrival the next day. That was easily accommodated on Barrets side but at this point I was very unhappy with how the experience was unfolding and let him know. The next day his crew showed up at the expected time. His project manager had no idea what the job was. I had to walk him through everything. The paper work he had was obviously different then mine. It was incomplete. I had a walkout gate and a double drive gate on mine. His did not. I had to explain where each gate was suppose to be and how big they were suppose to be. If the project manager had contacted me a week prior like I was told this would have all been worked out. That day they tore down most of my existing fence and hauled it away. There was still a gate and multiple posts left standing. I figured they would do another haul the next day when those were cut down. His crew cut out early that day at 3:45. The second day I was told I didn't need to be present. I was working from home that morning but did not check on their progress until lunch. The first thing I noticed was that the part of the fence that had already gone up did not have the gate I clearly discussed with the project manager the day before. He acknowledged the mistake and said it was an easy change to get done. A few hours later I had to go back out again and ask about the double drive gate that he had just finished. City ordinance says all gates along a side walk must open inward toward the property. I discussed this in depth with the sales person and the contract I signed clearly showed the gate opening inward. The paper work the project manager had didn't even show this gate. I got his (and later Barret's) assurance that if the building inspector requires that to change it would be done at no cost. When the crew was done the project manager walked me out to the gate he had missed and showed that to me but not much else. He asked if I was happy and I said I was. This was my mistake. The fence looked fantastic and I was very happy with the final product. But I should have walked the entire yard with him. This was at 5pm on a Friday. I thanked them and they left. That's when I walked the property myself. I have a sidewalk leading to a highschool where the fence was replace. There were large rocks and pieces of cut wood all along it. I had to clean those up myself. Within my yard there were the cut posts laid out next to the new fence along with multiple pieces of the old fence with large nails exposed - extremely dangerous to myself and my two large breed dogs. There was also the gate left standing all by itself in the middle of the yard (the new fence line was different from the old). When Barret emailed a few days later I explained that the posts and gate were part of the existing fence line and thus should have been removed. He made some excuse about it not being in the paper work but would do me the "favor" of hauling them away (I had taken out the gate myself at this point). Overall the final product is really nice. I'm very happy with it. But the lack of communication and lack of professionalism from the owner and crew were very off putting. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

it went great i needed a gate replaced, i emailed them they were very quick in the response. they gave a great fair price and did outstanding work...really a piece of art. i told Joel my vision and came back it was beautiful. He even went so far as to roll up my hose better than i did. They really pay attention to the small details. I really feel they give the extra mile and quality. this is the best fence company i have used
