We were very pleased with this company's work. They were able to complete our project on time and on budget with artistic skill matching the design to our steeply sloping landscape. Our trust in their competence was not displaced. Fernando carefully supervised the project almost daily and his crew was excellent.

This company and workers are honest and have integrity. That is rare in this day and age. They replaced two retaining walls and a smaller one and did a small patio. All work looks great!

This company has good costumer service, they show up when they are supposed to and finish it in a reasonable amount of time, and are willing to work with you to find a design that fits your budget.

Initially we hire Fernando and his crew to demo and pour a new front walkway. When Juan came out to bid the project he ended up selling us on a sprinkler system for the front and back yard. Regrading of the back and side yards. New cobble stone edging and SOD. Who would think you can do SOD in December? We absolutely love the results of the work they did. Fernando and his team were great to work with and exceed our expectations. Thanks for the new yard Fernando!

We hired A Sharper Image for our front yard landscaping project. Fernando and his crew did an excellent job. They worked closely with our designer (Abby from Botanical Living) to achieve the desired outcome. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and their work ethic. Fernando, the owner, was onsite daily, to make sure everything was to our liking. He was totally hands on throughout the project even driving us to pick out our boulders, pavers, etc. (well, Abby actually helped pick them out). The project was completed in a week. We couldnâ t have asked for a better experience. And, they are reasonable in price. We will definitely do business with Fernando and A Sharper Image Landscaping again. A special shout out to Juan, their sales person who was our go to at the beginning of the project. He kept us informed and was readily available to answer all our questions and concerns.

My high expectations were exceeded at nearly every turn! The experience with every representative of this team, from the first contact and estimation phase to the contracting to the daily contact with the owner, Fernando and every workman, was professional and positive. Sharper Image Landscaping (SIL) just completed a full backyard landscaping project that included the following: - Extending my patio by 8 feet in depth and 44 feet in length - Building 3 feet in height and 44 feet in length retaining/seating wall - Installing a two-zone sprinkler system - Leveling the backyard to match the height of the retaining/seating wall - Installing three 25-foot Redpoint maple trees - Laying new sod - Zeroscaping the portions of the lawn - Install led lighting - Installing flagstone on the retaining/seating wall While there are so many things to praise about the quality of their work, I want to highlight a few things that show the devotion to exceptional work. The patio extension was a significant part of the project, and it was one that I had multiple vendors offer solutions. SIL was the only that addressed two concerns 1) the water drainage off the old and new patio slabs and 2) the water drainage from my gutters. To eliminate any water damage to the foundation, SIL proposed adding a French drain that would run the length between the old and new slabs, and the pipe would run underneath the fence to drain away from the property. They also proposed connecting the gutter drains to the same tube so water would not collect on the concrete slabs. Days after the project completion, I had the opportunity to see their solution in action, and there was no water collection on the concrete. SIL also used the retaining/seating wall to show a level of experience over other vendors. The original plan was for a 44-foot wall, which SIL pointed out had a major issue; a straight wall would allow dirt to spill out on the sides. They suggested adding two feet of wall to square of the corners, thus eliminating the problem. It was a simple and effective solution that others did not propose, and it was one that made the elevated backyard look amazing. As for the rest of the work, it was exceptional. The quality and care SIL put into each portion of the project was outstanding. I have already recommended SIL to two others, and I will continue to recommend them to others, as well as hire them for the next phase of my project. I am so confident in their work that I have offered to be a reference, and if needed, allow others to see SIL work firsthand at my place.

I met Fernando and Juan after having several estimates for a demolition of an old, rotting seating area to be replaced with a flagstone patio in my backyard. They had some different ideas than the other folks, so I went with them, and I am glad I did! They worked efficiently and professionally, always keeping me up to date with any issues that arose or aesthetic decisions I could make. They finished the job on time, and they added several small touches that I wasn't expecting, like filling in some holes on my sidewalk that was adjacent to the patio, laying down sod to make a gap to my yard look nicer, and adding small flagstones to fill other gaps. These guys are great, and I'll be sure to hire them again on my next landscaping project.

Appreciated the attention to detail and the cleanup after the project. Having the consistency of the same crew for the 1 week project made the project go very smoothly and quickly. Fernando's supervision on the project including communication daily on project status was outstanding.

I am a Professional Engineer and have high standards for contractors that work for me, I designed a custom metal and wood fence and Fernando was the low bid. He was professional, fair, easy to communicate with, and did not charge me for many extras he provided. Most important he and his team did excellent, high quality work. Fernando is great! He took the extra time to chat with me and go over everything so that I had a full understanding of the services I was getting. He is a great supervisor and checked in with his crew frequently. He and his crew were very professional. They did a fine job of cleaning up everything and left my property in excellent condition!
